I’ve been wearing these, almost, daily for over a month. The traction is great all terrain, my feet have remained dry in morning dew/rain/puddles and zero ‘debris’ has made it passed the cuff of my boot. I did have to add insoles, as the original ones were nonexistent and the do have a “squeak” to the after you get them broke in. It appears to come and go and be dryness/moister related. They are are wearing and weathering quite well! They tie very tightly and I find myself loosening as my day progresses to give my feet their needed room. I would 100% recommend these and will buy another pair when I the time comes to replace these. (These are cold temperatures boots!!!)

I purchased these boots for a cruise through Alaska and they really came in handy! Not only did these boots keep my feet dry, but they also kept my feet warm. The ship deck often is windy and wet and these boots were perfect. I also got a few compliments!

I like this shoe s lot but when you start walking on the right side of the boots start having a sounds squeeze when you walking in the hard wood floor so annoying so not sure I am crazy about it I did not know this until one month later and get rid of the box all ready not I have to keep the boot so sad

The shoe is comfortable and I like the fact that it feels like a tennis shoe. The problem is that they are not very comfortable around the ankle. These rubbed my ankles raw. I’m trying to soften that part so that I can wear them hiking because otherwise they’re perfect.

Took my new hiking shoes to Arches national park, I was worried they would hurt since they were brand new, I was wrong ! They were very comfortable, first day I did a 4 mile hike and second day I did a 7 mile hike, boots were comfortable and Super no slip ! The color and design are very nice.

Bottom line (TLDR) & Why i need them: I purchased these to be used primarily for outdoor adventures, typically those involving hiking in wetter locations (forests/streams/rivers' edges). Super happy with my purchase, yes they are definitely waterproof, no i do not think they run large, yes they are perfect for outdoor adventures!. Read on for my detailed review! Performance: I have worn them hiking a few times, crossed shallow streams, hiked very steep cliffs (down & up), walked through and around the river. I have gotten them muddy & wet and they have kept my feet super-dry. I have worn them in waters that covered the laces for extended periods of time, including standing still and actively on the move, and not one drop of water has yet to seep in. The traction they provide on all outdoor terrains i've experienced so far has been stellar, and i felt confident and secure in my hikes thru water, over slippery rocks, muddy ground, deep forest floor, etc. I am pleased with them so far. Fit, Style & Construction: Reviews i read seemed to claim they run large. I usually wear a 6.5, sometimes a 7. Because the majority of wearers said they run large, i ordered a 6.5 They fit just right, and i mean just right. A little too narrow for my taste initially....i wore them out running errands one day, and to work one day (am a manager at a winery/restaurant) to start breaking them in. (I don't recommend wearing anywhere you may need non-slip soles because the floor in the restaurant kitchen was not a good match for these boots. No traction on a potentially greasy or slick floor.) I wear hiking socks that correspond with the climate and my anticipated activities for the day (hiking woods / forest / streams / rivers / river or pond fishing...). Even with thinner hiking socks they were a bit snug, so I did stretch them out at the widest part of my foot using a set of shoe stretchers, which did help. They look good, too, with or without the mud. They came with a spare pair of laces. These are well-made, sturdy hiking boots. I would definitely consider purchasing this brand again.

I’m on my third order of these boots, because I really want to like them, but there are fit and quality control issues. They’re really attractive and stylish, wearable with street or hiking clothes, and very much my style. Outside of the issues below, they’re quite comfortable (albeit it narrow enough that I’d stretch the toe boxes for my wide ball area), supportive yet pliable (what I was looking for, and unlike so many hiking boots). The factory insoles have little to no arch support, so I’d have to switch out with my own, but I usually do anyway. I haven’t worn them out of the house, so can’t comment on their weather/waterproof attributes. Issues… The first pair I received were really narrow in the toe box, plus the throat (lace line) was stitched on a weird angle, twisting from left to right, front to back - not only visually obvious, but causing the left side of the high top to curve inward and press on my ankle, irritating it. It also didn’t feel balanced. The second pair I received felt a little wider overall, but the left shoe, and lace line at the toe, are significantly wider than the right, visibly obvious. The right shoe toe box feels much narrower than the left, actually squeezing my foot bones and making my toes fall asleep. Upon further inspection, after taking the insoles out, the glued down fabric under the toes in the right shoe is bunched up, likely taking up a lot of room where it feels too tight. I expect better from a $160 pair of hikers. Will third time be a charm? Crossing my fingers.
