I'm kind of disappointrd that my copy of this set of MIG pliers, received today from amazon, was made in China not USA as others have reported. That said, this tool appears to made the way one would expect an inexpensive tool. Casting is clean and the machined surfaces fit well when closed. It is a good tool for the price. Only issue I have had is hard plastic grip came off, so if they were glued in place from factory that would be ideal. The grips do have an aggressive texture that don't slip in bare hand or gloves.

No complaints. Haven't had others to compare, but for the price, it does everything needed. It is mostly used to snip the MIG wire to length.

    • These Pliers will do their job
Good pliers for beginners without investing a lot. The wire cutter came a little dull but can to be sharpened. If you have a MIG Welder you'll need one of these, makes your job easier.

Not as good as the Pearson brand. The wire cutter blades went dull after just a couple months on the job and they were and everyday necessity. Eventually, just invested my money with the better brand and went with Pearson.

    • Doesn't cut wire well
My main use for a set of Mig pliers is to cut the wire. The cutters on this set of pliers did not line up correctly so they mostly just mash the wire instead of cutting it.

so far so good.. i was a bit worried about the handles looking like they were rubber and plastic, and seeing that they would melt on contact when placed on hot metal.. but surprisingly, nothings happened yet.. good quality for under $10.. i plan to buy a couple more for spares..
