Check the electrical connector before installing. The fit was too tight but after filing down the plastic connector and adding A small amount of silicone lubricant The electrical connector worked fine

    • Does not fit 2000 Ford ranger
Amazon says this is compatible with a 2000 Ford ranger, it is not. It screws in but the electrical connectors do not fit.

I would have given 5 stars however when plugging in it was a bit snug. OEM tends to be easier fit. Regardless it works well on my 1999 Mercury Sable DOHC V6.

Despite Amazon’s Fitment Guide stating it did, this does NOT work with my vehicle, a 2001 7.3L diesel Ford Excursion. The plug did not fit my vehicle’s harness nor was the thermistor’s resistance range within operating specs of my dash gauge.
