Description
Black MAX twin tube shock absorbers have increased fluid capacity and utilize foam-cell technology. When the shock is working hard and gets hot, the foam- cell insert compresses to compensate for oil expansion which maintains consistent MAX performance throughout the operating temperature range of the shock. The foam-cell design also eliminates air inside the shock which allows for mounting in any direction. Arc-welded end mounts and select specific valving give this shock absorber MAX value.

Stiffend-up my 2001 Dodge 4x4

Sooo much better!!!
I had the Rancho 9000 XL adjustable shocks they have 10k miles on them I have a 2017 F350 FX4. Single cab 4x4. With a plow. The Rancho where way too stiff... Even on lowest setting they just sucked .. The Skyjacker black max are amazing. I had them on my old gmc truck and liked them so I decided to try these on my f350 since it rode like it had solid suspension. Since I put them on they are so much smoother and less jarring when I hit little bumps.. I ordered some for the rear aswell so I can't wait to install them and see the full result. Make sure you look up the correct part number or you will have issues with length of your shocks, weight of your vehicle and fitment. Always do a good Google search first then order them. Disappointed
Only have had them on the truck for maybe 2 1/2 months out of the four I bought 2 of them leaked all oil out of the shocks…

Not the item listed
The product shown when buying has a different shock boot tip placement than when it arrives. Its backwards manufactured- will have to do for now to keep the new coils from falling out until I get the proper front shocks. They have a cool thick look to them but definitely upside down mates-

Not the right shocks
Shock is backwards it compresses from the bottom instead from the top. basically if u look at the photo If had the boot cover on the back shock it would be on the bottom of it where the white shock has the boot cover on top.
