I am so excited to have found this tv/monitor FULL-SWING TV wall mount! I was looking for a way to watch the same TV, but could freely choose which room of the adjoining rooms to watch it on! I have a 42" TV that I have in my kitchen which is next to my office. I want to swivel the TV from the kitchen into the doorway to watch the same TV while I work at the desk. This is it! Most tv wall mounts swivel but stop at a certain rotation in order to maintain integrity of the structure holding up the TV. That's great. This Wall Mount if VERY HEAVY & BUILT EXTREMELY STABLE. It works like a dream! But you DO need to drill holes into the studs of your wall. It needs TWO studs to maintain integrity. So think through how your wall is and where the studs are. If you have a wall where there are only 3 studs, you will not be able to center it on that wall. So my TV is off to one side of that narrow wall. If that will bother you in your home, then first go find your studs in the wall and see if it allows you room to center your TV. The structure is designed for 12", 14" and 16" on center. You WILL need a powe drill to screw in the bolts into your studs. The step by step instructions are great and even instruct you to predrill your holes. Not most people know to do that! So I applaud the person who wrote those instructions. It also helps to have two people help you screw in the mount to the wall. It is very heavy and hard to hold AND drill. Expecially if you want to keep the mount "level." Also, the hardware given is wonderful! They offer you many different sizes of bolts/screws/washers/spacers to accomodate different tv shapes and sizes. They even include a level! This product is easily a 5 out of 5 stars! The structure is sound and sturdy. Moves/swivels extremely smooth and quiet. The mount is stable as it's attached to the wall in the studs with 4 heavy duty screws. The materials used to make the arms and how they're attached shows no signs of any cheaper corners taken. I am so pleased with every aspect of this product. I'd buy more if I needed them. Only thing to also mention is that the mount WILL show the support arms out behind the TV if you attach a 32" TV or smaller. It is meant for a 42" or larger. So keep that in mind also as you look at TV mounts.

My wife and I are ecstatic over this mount. Over the past 15 years of several mounts, I've learned to trust reviewers that report repeated positives or issues with a mount. I've read the various articles of what to look for and what to think about regarding frequently adjusting, true weight handling, future TVs that might be used on the same mount, and longevity as far as does it avoid eventual sagging or bending. So, in the past I tended not to spend more than about $80 but, over time, I wanted something much better. I reviewed current trends, several comparison articles of "the top 10 mounts", and so on. There were a lot of high rated mounts out there but I did discover this time that I wanted one with a longer-than-normal extension for our 60-inch TV. I had learned the phrases to search for, such as "articulating arm", "extension", and others. This particular one revealed the most consistent and high volume of reviewers. When it arrived, the entire box was very heavy and I wondered about how I might install it and how it might hold up on the wall. But, with the individual components, it was very workable for installing. And, it mounted across two wall studs so, it was extremely solid and stable. I almost was able to mount it myself but my wife assisted at one point for when the wall plate was being bolted into the wall studs. I did use a level to ensure it would be properly balanced and wouldn't look tilted, although it had multiple adjustment points to use for after mounting it. Prior to mounting, I did piece it together on the floor and extended it out so I could measure where it would bolt to the TV. I needed this so I could determine the right height for the TV. My TV VESA holes were not in the center of the TV and were significantly lower, so it was important I had that info to determine how high to mount the initial wall plate. When mounted, as you see in other reviewers' photos, the wall mounted plate might be visible to you or others in the room if the TV is extended outward at a good distance. We knew we would leave our TV extended nearly all the time. This was unavoidable in our situation but we accepted that as there weren't any other mounts with these features that could hide that portion of the mount. We estimated if it extended out far enough and had enough pivot points, we could maneuver it to be viewable while cooking in the kitchen or relaxing in the living room and it worked! We couldn't believe how easily not only that it swiveled on the primary moving of the entire arm but also on each of the two pivot joints so we could "wrap it" around the corner wall. We noticed there were mainly two types of this one and I wondered why one cost a bit more than the other. After reading the reviews more intensely, I found out why. The higher priced model (which we bought), had a TV mounting plate with a lot more openings so it improved the odds that it wouldn't block our TV's connection ports and air vents. Sure enough, I could see that when I was plugging in the cables that we used. We used one HDMI cable (heavy duty HDMI v2) for the streaming device and an Ethernet cable for connecting to the router. Those two cables plus the power cord were fed across the articulating arm and bound to wrap around the pivoting joints to lead eventually back down the wall plate to the wall ports and electrical source. We used the enclosed ties which helped affix all the cabling. Only once did I have to hand adjust the tilting of the TV itself within the first few hours. I tightened it down a bit tighter and haven't had the need to adjust it any more. Our TV is not very heavy but I can see how it could handle much heavier ones. We leave it extended out about 2 to 3 feet all the time and it never sags and continues to be moved to swing it around to the other room easily several times a day. It operates so smoothly, we now don't think anything about the mount as it merely works.

This kit shows great care in design, build quality, and anticipation of customer needs. I did not expect so much for such a reasonable price. It is very heavy duty with good tolerances and finishes. The adjustment mechanisms are well thought out, so you have plenty of ability to compensate if you end up with it slightly unlevel or with a bit of a tilt. It is also easily adaptable if you change TVs. Despite the flexibility, the mechanisms are elegant and simple to assemble and adjust with a minimum of tools. Finally, it includes everything you need. It has good wall anchors in the box and a range of screw lengths and spacers that will allow it to adapt to anything without a run to the hardware store. And, to my great joy, this comes with a drill template. It is a really great buy. Maybe overkill if you don't need the full 43" of extension. But, for my setup where I want to be able to move the TV over for easy viewing from my weight rig, this is absolutely perfect.

Works excellent. Wanted something that swiveled so I can see it from the bar but rotate it and see it from the pool as well. Super sturdy has stuff to keep cords from getting into mount. I feel like I could hang off this mount no problem!

Bought this to replace a mantelmount. If for some reason you’re doing that, be aware the hole pattern for the bracket is completely different. I mounted this to a real stone fireplace (not a facade) using lag shields and lag screws. It’s extremely solid. My only complaint is that my TV (59lb) does sag a tiny bit on the extension arm. No big deal and it certainly isn’t going anywhere, but I had hoped it would stay totally straight. Gravity wins!
