This is a sturdy monitor mount. The two options for mounting, through the desk, or end clamp give it versatility. The pieces fit together well, and the hardware all fits together without issue. The gas spring is adjustable in terms of tension, though it does require many, many turns. Because of the angle of the arm, these turns cannot be full turns with the Allen key flat (long axis), turning the Allen key the other way is not possible because you do not have enough leverage to turn it at all (short axis). Using some sort of extension bar, or even a drill with an Allen attachment is preferable to set your tension. My only complaint is the swivel of the piece that attaches to the monitor itself. It does r seem to move up and down nearly as well as described. I have to fiddle with it a bit more, but so far having some issues with that. Overall a solid stand, however.

I ordered this monitor arm for a new workstation build. I wanted the ability to easily adjust the height and tilt of my monitor for the best ergonomics. Whether I'm working or playing on the computer, I find it important to maintain good posture. This monitor arm helped me achieve it. One thing that I think makes this monitor arm stand out is its flexibility. It offers C-clamp and grommet mounting, adjustable tension for varying monitor weights, wide range tilt and swivel, support for both 75mm and 100mm VESA, and a quick disconnect adapter at the monitor. I'd guess this arm works for 99% of use cases. The arm's construction is good. It feels sturdy and I'm confident in mounting an expensive gaming monitor on it. The quick disconnect plate has a locking mechanism that allows me to rotate the monitor into portrait mode with little to no play. At the time of writing this review, the price of this monitor arm was $54.00 including a 40% coupon. I think the seller would have better luck with these arms if they just listed them at $54.00 outright instead of offering the 40% coupon; in some search results the coupon is not shown so the arm looks overpriced. At $54.00, I think it's a good price. At $89.99, it's too expensive. Having used many different monitor arms over the years, including the pricey Ergotech arms that I paid $100+ for nearly a decade ago, this arm is quite impressive for the price.

With the goal of freeing up desk space, I chose this arm to at least raise up the monitor and eliminate its footprint from my desktop. This unit was a good choice, because it worked great! My monitor is a 32", and this arm system has no problem at all supporting it and holding it in place. Installation and adjustment was relatively easy, and I do think this is capable of supporting a larger, heavier monitor if I decide to upgrade in the future. Overall, I am very pleased with this product, so it receives my five star blessing and recommendation lol!

Perfect for mounting monitors on your desk. It is bulky and with a screen pretty heavy so make sure your desk can handle the weight.
