It didn’t have any batteries it took me an hour to get it to open I put the batteries in and paired it with my tv the voice doesn’t work and the up and down channel button doesn’t work I should have known better and just bought the real remote from Samsung I just wasted 20 dollars

This remote is ready to work out of the package, which was unclear in the beginning. I looked on YouTube how to get it to work. It literally takes less than 1 minute: Insert batteries. Turn on TV. Click the up and down button a few times for the remote to automatically sync with the TV. Ready.

You get what you pay for. I am very hard on things like this. It has been dropped a number of times and doesn’t work as well as it did when I first purchased it less than six months ago. I suggest that some sort of case or protector should be bought to go with it so that it will last longer.
