Not sure what others reviewers were complaining about, but this cable works great for me to extend for my Garmin UHD2 53CV with my GT-20TM transducer. I can’t imagine it wearing out as I’m just running it and securing it under the deck and i to the drivers helm of our Pontoon.

    • Junk Cable
At this price, I thought I was getting an OEM Garmin cable. That part is on me for not looking close enough at the description. Cable arrived in plastic zip lock bag with minimal instructions and no indication that it was a genuine Garmin cable, again red flag. After trying to get this cable to connect to GT20-TM transducer cable several times I finally gave up in fear of damaging the existing transducer cable. At that point I went back to Amazon and realized this is a 3rd party cable. It clearly states in description that this is for a Garmin Echo series and GT20-TM transducer both of which I have. This cable is garbage and will NOT mate up to a OEM GT20-TM 4 pin transducer cable. There is that remote chance that I received a defective one but it is not worth trying another. Hoping I did not damage my transducer cable by trying to get it to connect to this extension cable. Returning and ordering an OEM Garmin cable. ... show more

The transducer that came with our Garmin chart plotter had a line that was about 6 feet too short. This 10ft extension allowed us to do a clean install without having to make diagonals across the bilge. It came overnight to a RiteAid near the boat. PERFECT!
