These containers are brittle and don't appear like the ones in the advertisement photos. One of the lids even broke (photo included) as I was separating them after opening the packaging for the first time, so I don't expect them to last long. These containers are basically the ones you see salads and dips in at the local grocery store. Some of us are guilty of keeping these containersand reusing them because they hold up for quite a few uses, work well for our own salads/dips and they make great togo or leftover containers. It's usually just my wife and me at the house and we frequently have leftovers that doesn't quite need a quart size container. And with a limited amount of freezer space, I appreciate this mid-sized alternative. They stack nicely and with the clear tub makes it easy to see what's inside.

They will work great for in-house use but I would hesitate to use them in any situation that they might get dropped or crushed, because they are a thinner plastic. They'll hold up to freezer use but I personally would be hesitant to even try them in a microwave. They do have a usefulness, but I'd advise caution on which situations you use them in. Others have complained that they received rectangle containers rather than the round, but I did in fact get the round one. ... show more

I don't know if you noticed in my photos but these containers are not rectangle. Not the best quality containers that I have gotten either- they are just not as sturdy as some others that I have used.
