Sectional pole with several options for flag use, given the cross arm at the top. It's sectional, so you can adjust the height a bit to fit your needs. Will hold up to a pretty good wind, Iowa tried hard to bend it/break it, but didn't. The one big flaw we found with it is that because it is sectional, you screw in each piece into the next to make your pole. We found that in the high winds here, it would twist the entire pole around, and "unscrew" the weakest section. Then, if you had any swirling wind, it could move the flag arm around a bit, then the prevailing wind would twist it again, and eventually, one section/pole would unscrew. Basically, a strong wind with some swirling could unscrew the pole from itself. The other flaw (if it's a flaw at all) is that the reverse also happens, in that once you screw all the sections together, and it gets some high winds, they may well tighten the whole thing up... and that means, TIGHT. good luck getting the aluminum threads undone, if you want to take it apart again, they have been tightened by the sailcloth flag and 50 mph winds, and are set. So yeah... given your winds, you may end up with a solid pole you'll never take apart again, or a sectional pole that the wind may unscrew over a day. The yardarm style cross piece gives you some options... one flag on one side, or on both. Big flag on one side, two smaller flags, etc..

This is an ok flagpole, but my disappointment is in the construction of it. I have 2 others, each from different companies, that in the pictures look to be the same or very similar. Those both, however, are actually very solid steel pipe and very sturdy. This one, however, for the same money as those, is a MUCH lighter weight pipe...very thin wall pipe... and the "fittings", top cap, hangers, etc. are plastic, not metal like the other ones. If this was half or 2/3 the price, I could feel better about it, but for the same price as the others I have, I sure wouldn't buy this one again. While this is, in and of itself, a fully functional product, the quality just doesn't match the price for me.

I am happy with this pole design. The base is secure and the materials are strong to withstand hurricane winds. The clips to secure the flag to the pole are quality and nice detail.

I was very excited when I saw this flag pole for two reasons: (1) We have a small front yard with shrubs in front, making it hard to see small garden flags from the sidewalk and (2) we have a bit of theft in our neighborhood, making us unsure if we even want to bother putting out our smaller garden flags. This pole solved that issue. We now have it placed in our side yard behind our gate. Passersby can see our flags but can't steal them. It's great! What I like about this flag pole: 1. It's easy to assemble, though it didn't come with directions. 2. It looks nice. 3. It can hold one small garden flag, two small garden flags or one large flag. 4. It has 4 stakes attatched to the bottom 5. It seems pretty sturdy. Cons: 1. As stated, there were no assembly directions included in our box. 2. Though the matte black finish is very nice, it seems like it may easily scratch so you need to be careful if you lay this on the sidewalk to assemble or to attach your flags. 3. Hopefully, rusting won't be an issue (time will tell). 4. It was hard for me to push the 4 stakes fully into the ground so we're slightly concerned that strong winds could blow the flag pole over. 5. One of the poles that build the flag pole wasn't threaded properly so we couldn't use it but the pole is so tall that this wasn't an issue for us. Still, quality control might be lacking. Overall, we really like this flag pole, since it solved an issue for us. We recommend it!

Great pole for solar lights. I cannot comment on the quality of the flag because I did not use it at all. I needed to install a solar powered street light for a path in my yard that I could not wire permanently. This worked perfect for that. I installed the light on the top of it and put it in the ground as instructed and it works fine.
