You can see the shade that these screens provide. The second front screen for my other awning did not get delivered before we left but the side screen for it did help keep the dog pen in some shade. Of course, you will notice the dog is basking in the hot sun, but she finds the shady spot when she's had enough.

I ordered this awning in May but was unable to test it out until July 11th. I am very pleased with it. It really helps cut down the sun glare and heat. It also allows you to get a little more privacy. I was able to install it onto my awning by myself. It would be a little easier with 2 people though.

This works wonderful. We spent the week at Chincoteague Island and this blocks the sun with the black at the top and screen below. I was concerned the dog would get tangled in supports but not at all. It has enough slant to block the sun and go out far enough to not restrict use of the site. Would definitely recommend. Very sturdy material too.

The awning was simple to install. We used metal tent stakes as ground is usually too hard for plastic. Immediately felt decrease in temperature. Offered semi-privacy but blocking sun was our goal

So far I have used this for a few weeks and it has been really good. People have stopped by and gave me positive comments and I told them to remember FONZIER. The install was pretty simple and the take down is even easier. I leave the solid top piece on and it rolls up just fine like it is part of the awning. I haven't tried to roll up the whole screen and I am not interested in doing so. I do not think you will be disappointed.
