I normally wait a few months to see how the product works before writing a review. I decided to install this myself, the instructions were OK, but there are more detailed videos online that helped a lot. This can be done with one person, but it's much easier with two. The quality looked good on the awning, the seems were tight and straight, although the material was a little thinner than the original. I completed the job in about an hour and very happy with the results.

Completly pleased with this awning material. I think it is comparable to the factory original Dometic awning. Very heavy, durable and tough material. Stitching and finish is excellent. Perfect fit and easy to install.

Fitment and size good. Looks good. Not a 5 star because its not as heavy duty/multi layered as my old original. This 18ft awning replaced a dometic awning fabric on my UL21 work and play.No problems with new awning fabric. Main issues were with forest river work and play hardware to be able to take it apart to slide awning fabric.

The replacement awning fabric was a great quality. The material is thick and durable. The install was a hot mess. Was it me and my family or is it really this hard? We could have made a movie out of the hilarious horror of installing this bad boy. Did we break a piston in one of the arms? YES! It took us an entire day and nearly took us all out, but the final product is amazing and I am sooo pleased! If I ever have to replace it again, I will be hiring someone

The awning we removed was very well made but it had the LED light bar which is notorious for causing rips. Luckily, this one doesn't have that. It took us roughly 2 hours and we did have to enlist a third hand to help with the midsection of the canvas, but it all went smoothly. This one is also well made and we feel like it should last just as long as the old one, if not longer. We have the 16' length and it was a couple of inches longer than the old one. We did watch several videos on YouTube just so we could get several peoples advice. Our awning is motorized so removing the awning arms was not necessary. Installing it on a spring loaded tube seems a bit more labor intensive, so luckily for us, that wasn't an issue. The spiral stakes and straps look strong and thankfully there's a bar for twisting the stakes into the ground. There's also an 8"x10" sheet of sticky back canvas repair included. Other people had mentioned finding holes in the canvas when they unpacked the box, but we didn't find any and it was well packaged. We didn't have any need to contact the seller, but with the care they take in packaging and the supplies included, we feel like they would stand behind their products. We have a sun shade installed so we can't use the nice clips for hanging extra lighting, but they might be useful in the future. This product was a good value as the material is a bit thicker than the old one from Solera. The edges are all heat sealed so there aren't any holes with stitching. That's a bonus too. While we wanted the grey fabric, it wasn't going to arrive in time for our trip, so we ordered the blue. It's a nice saturation of color and we're pleased with it.

Can't say enough about this product. Quality is definitely there Durable material Made our camper look new ! Only suggestion is that you use at least two people to put this on. Directions were easy to follow. Definitely recommend!
