This unit fixed an annoying issue me and my wife had at home, we needed a place to keep the kids backpacks and shoes in a convenient space right next to the door. No more backpacks on the floor or shoes being left everywhere, the best of it if guest are coming I just remove the backpacks and now there is a place for the guest to leave their purse or bags and not using the sofas or chairs for it, also no hooks or anything on the walls. It took me about an hour to put together (My fault ,i got the wrong side at the wrong spot, i need to pay more atention to the instruction). The instructions are easy enough to follow. I am not very good at putting things together and i did find it relatively easy enough. It is sturdy and heavy, which is good.

We bought this to store our shoes when we come in from the outside. It's in our laundry room, making it easy to change into our slippers to keep our wood floors scratch free. It matches the wood on our cabinets and our ironing board cabinet. It's not too big so it doesn't overwhelm the space. Like the direction says, it does take 2 people to assemble it but the finished product is so worth it!
