This walker though a bit more expensive than the cheaper walkers is built much sturdier and is more balanced. I have been through 3 of the cheap walkers in 2 years and have too easily bent the legs on uneven surfaces, fallen down more easily because there was no breaking system on the cheap walkers. This walker actuates the breaking system once you put your weight on it naturally as you step forward. Due to my individual disability, I can't really use the seat but it has become a sturdy place to carry stuff that I can't hold in my hand while using the walker. Worth the extra $60. It comes with extra leg extensions in case you don't want to use the wheels.

Unfortunately I have had to use a walker or rollator more frequently this year than I would like. I can attest to the pros and cons of several. This one incorporates some interesting ideas - particularly the double wheels with suspension on the front. Unfortunately neither can be put to good use because this walker is just too short and too unstable. (FYI, I 5'8".) The walker doesn't fold once the wheels are on, if you're considering that feature. The two tiered grab handles and the seat just overly complicate the thing. Bottom line, it tries to do too many things and doesn't do any of them particularly well. For me, I went back to the walker with tennis balls on the feet as it was more stable than this one and didn't hunch me over when I walked. These walkers are definitely not a one-sized fits all. Assembly is very fast and only took me 5 minutes to put together.

This walker design is a good idea. The way this one is made is definitely not! First, the instructions are useless because they don't address each step ... way too vague. Second, once assembled, the walker is not very stable, i.e., the frame is rocky and moves, wobbles. That is not safe for someone whose balance is compromised. That said, it doesn't support as it should especially for use in the shower. As well, it is cheaply made. As the person who'd be using this walker and, so, needs to depend completely on it, I cannot recommend it.

I ordered this walker to give my mother so that she could have the seat option when needing to rest. The assembly was straight forward with the standard push pin design. There is an option for wheels or legs which allow for customization. The seat lifts and lowers smoothly when attached. The only issue we had was the overall height. Even at the highest setting it was still too low for a 5’ woman. The low height would cause her to bend over reinforcing her struggle to maintain good posture. I am not certain for whom this walker would work. The wheels are spring loaded so the pad bottoms out on the ground to prevent movement when weight is applied. This makes the frame sink down even more. Second, the frame has a tendency to want to collapse when in use. You have to have the seat installed to stop it from wanting to collapse but it is hard to walk with the seat installed. The frame parts are solid but when put together they are not as sturdy as others we have used. Avoid this product if you can, this is a safety hazard waiting to happen.

This is a nice one but the seat is super narrow. I mean you have to be very skinny to be able to sit on this seat comfortably. It is smaller and I liked that because our doorways are narrow. But it's also really awkward to use with only the front wheels so I had to add back wheels. But the brakes are not good. I think it would have been more dangerous for my mom to use it so we just gave it away to someone else.
