Because you can easily pop the battery out, the frame becomes light enough for him to carry it up the stairs to his unit without breaking his back. It fits perfectly in the corner of his room without taking up the space a standard mountain bike would. Shipping & Setup Shipment was impressively fast—it arrived sooner than the estimated date, which was a huge plus since he needed it for the start of the semester. Setup was a breeze; it was mostly assembled, so we had it up and running in no time. Performance & Build For a compact bike, this thing is a beast. The 1200W peak power makes hills effortless, and it hits that 25 MPH mark easily. Even though it’s foldable, the frame feels incredibly solid and stable—no "rattling" or cheap feel when you’re riding at higher speeds. The full suspension makes a noticeable difference on bumpy city sidewalks, and the battery life has been solid, easily getting him through a couple of days of classes on a single charge. Exceptional Customer Service We did run into a bit of a snag during one of his rides involving an issue with the rear tire. Purchased this bike for a client in an employment program that needs transportation to work. After being fully charged overnight the bike only made it 6 miles before dying and making it, so the client had to walk the other 6 miles to work. The description stated that the bike could go 45 miles and this is why this one was purchased as my client has a 12 mile ride to work (note: the ride to work is all down hill) and no other form of transportation options. The tires are also not durable as well as the tire has already needed to be repaired after 3 days. I would love to give a better review if the seller makes this right. ... show more

pretty solid electric bike. it was easy to put together. watch the video, much easier than reading the instructions. it has some trouble up big hills but i just use the petal assist. other than that its been great. it’s pretty fast too.

This was our first electric bike purchase. I had great and informative emails with the seller, and I learned a lot. We didnt want to commit to a higher priced bike and not like it. I think those older folks should try this one if they are curious about electric bikes. Its small, portable and foldable. Its a lil heavy, but with 2 people, you can lift it fine. It says it goes up to 20mph, but I havent tested that! The best part is that it is totally silent!! You wont disturb anyone riding around at nite. It has a light and a horn on the front. The brakes stop immediately. Its fun to ride, and you can pedal it. Just make sure to turn the bike completely off before you pedal, otherwise the pedal assist will kick in. And its fast. Just be aware of that. The seat is comfortable and adjustable. Im glad we purchased it!! ... show more
