The table features solid plywood throughout, creating a sturdy surface that feels built to last. Assembly requires 60 screws for the tabletop—a time-consuming process that demands an electric screwdriver for efficiency. The four included chairs impressed with their solid wood construction and brass hinges. They slide neatly into the cupboard beneath the table, creating a compact storage solution perfect for small spaces. Comfort exceeded expectations for chairs designed to tuck away. The two drawers and storage rack add practical functionality for kitchen essentials. The unit's mobility comes with one drawback: the supporting legs for the table extensions flap around when wheeling the table across the room. I actually saw this table (or one very close to it) advertised on a social media app a couple of years ago. When my living arrangement changed, I wanted a space-saving table that could give me the freedom to seat two or four while not taking up a lot of space, so I searched out this table and found it on this page. Enter this "Folding Dining Table with Storage Rack" review. Assembly: This is my one complaint with this table. It may take you about 2-3 hours to put together (took me 3 hours), and I would recommend a 2nd person to help as well. The reason it took so long was that at least on the one that was sent to us that some of the "pre-drilled holes" or little "starter holes" to know where to drill or add screws were simply missing. This left us to have to line up and measure these ourselves. This proved to be slow and tedious, and if we got it wrong the table wouldn't assemble correctly. If you mess up it would leave unsightly holes in your table from putting a screw in the wrong place. Fortunately I checked and double checked everything and ours before making holes and it looks great, but I could see that happening if you're not careful. I don't know if we may have gotten some outlier one sent to us or if this is common issue with the manufacturing, but that may detour some of the less crafty, confident, or buyers out there that may not want to screw with that if oyu get one that are also missing these. Stability and Style: I have now used the table for about a month and I have to say, it is great! I have had several meals on it with two people, and have had game nights with four and even six people putting arm weight on it, and it holds up like a champ. It's esthetically pleasing, and honestly the chairs being able to be put away is brilliant! I purchased the table with two additional chairs, and they too can fit in the table storage. Love it. Wonderful design. I got the ones without the padding and they can get a hair uncomfortable, needing more lumbar support, but they aren't bad in my opinion. They're sturdy, and I don't feel like they're going to break at the drop of a hat. I weigh 180 lbs, so I'm not the heaviest person ever, but they are well made. I could see if you're a larger person that the chair may feel a bit small for you though, as they aren't very wide. Overall, I am very happy with my purchase. The assembly was definitely not recommended, and could have been a LOT easier (in my opinion), but then again you only have to do that once then it's there for good. And once you get past that part the table is great! Beautiful design, storage, well made and sturdy, and a real space-saver. With the assembly being so cumbersome I dinged it 1 star, but still a 4/5 for me. Hope this helps you make a decision on if it's right for you. ... show more

The table is very stable. It is easy to install following instruction. It can be folded up when not in use and expanded easily for family meals. The storage drawers are a nice bonus for storing napkins and small items. The smooth casters make it easy to move as well.
