This mat is perfect for playing VR. Does exactly what it should and doesn't over complicated it. Best part about this mat is it folds up conveniently and can easily be stored.

The media could not be loaded. Used with my quest 3. Portable. Good tool to give a sense of where are in the space you are playing in... when you have room scale boundary on.. especially good as a landmark for friends new to vr. Slips a little so not totally anti-skid when you get intense in your movement, so I added some grip tape on the bottom which helped. There may be better grip tape than I used for this application (the cat tongue brand i used wasn't cheap). Try it out if you're looking for a a mat.

It's thin. There's almost no padding at all. It's slippery, on both sides, so it slides on the floor/carpet as well as being slippery to walk on. It's VERY light so there's no weight to help increase friction with the ground. The only good thing about it is the deep markings. Being able to tell your orientation easily with your feet helps A LOT against motion sickness.

Top layer is scuffed and wearing through in places now. Doesn't slide a ton, but doesn't stay well either. It was best value at time, next time I might just cut some yoga/gorilla mat to make my own for durability.
