It's definitely a hot pink not a light pink like in the listing but still fine. I would suggest just to check all the zippers as well to make sure they are working. Mine was fine, but it will definitely save a headache later. The tent was wrinkled but it seems clean and the rod seem like they tarnished a little bit but are otherwise fine. Took around 10 mins to assemble. I just opened the bag and the tent sprung out. They give a pack of rods that you have to build by connecting them to each other. Also, the tent has openings with velcro where you slip the rods in and close it to give the tent structure. I found it easy to build each Rod, then lay the tent on its side, insert each Rod into the individual openings and then close the velcro. Then I continued rotating the tent until I have put each of the support rods in. After that, I just set the tent upright and it was done. Overall good size and will be using it too introduce my sister's cat to my other cats. I plan to also put a beach towel underneath to line it. We got the size large. The tent also is a slight chemical smell. So I would recommend letting it air out a little bit after building it by leaving it on a porch/backyard and making sure it wont blow away or by putting a fan on to air it out indoors before use. I used to have two hexagonal ones and I had to air them out first as well.

We have always used a type of tent containment unit for our cat at night - from kitten to full grown. We just don't want kitty jumping on the bed at night! Most reviews like the item for traveling or outdoor use but it is perfect for everynight use as well, whether a kitten or a full grown cat. This one is perfect! Just the right size for her litter box, blanket and water dish. I love the zipper opening at the top for cleaning the litter and so easy to vacuum out with our hand held vacuum. The zippers can clip together but I found them cumbersome so I use a carabiner for the door zipper. Otherwise they can use their paws to nudge the zipper open. But, that being said, our cats, once they are used to it, happily go in at night and then happy to get out of their "own bedroom" in the morning. I would highly recommend the Pet Kitten Playpen for use as described above

I bought this to use on my porch so that my large indoor cat could get some fresh air and outdoor stimulation. When the package arrived, it was so small and compact that I thought the wrong item had been sent. Not so. It assembled very easily and quickly. I am sure it will dis-assemble easily when the time comes. Nicely made and the proportions are generous, making for an airy enclosure, so not claustrophobic for the cat like a carrier. I set it up inside my house and My cat took to it right away. Now she prefers it to most of her old favorite spots. As it has turned out, I have only used it once outside because she likes it indoors so much. I think this would be very good for car travel, too, if your vehicle is large enough. Very happy purchase!

This really helped me out when I brought home two 8 week old kittens. It was able to fit their feeding dish, a small litter box and bedding and give them enough room to room to move around at night while I slept. It kept them safe and secure. The mesh is quite durable as they had sharp claws and clawed at it and I haven't had a hole yet. Its water proof and easy to sweep out the litter an food that spills. Right now it's their safe zone at night until I can trust them alone at night. As they get older I am looking forward to putting it out on the deck and letting them have some fresh air. I'm only not giving it 5 stars because I wish it was a little bigger for 2 of them. It was the biggest one they offered.

This is perfect for my dog! She’s a mini golden and is about 27 lbs. love that it’s easy to pack for travel and roomy for her to stay in during the day! It’s good quality and has held up nicely for the last 6 months or more. I love that it opens from the top and sides as well. Oh and I guess my cat likes it too lol

I bought this for my cat to safely stay in while building wide replumbing and electrical work was being done in my unit. It looked perfect and arrived quickly in time for her to get used to. I lined the bottom with favorite surfaces and water, food and toys. One the day when plumbers would be coming in, I had signs up on walls about the cat being home in a carrier on my bed. When I came home the flap was open . Later a worker told me the carrier was empty when they arrived in the morning. Fortunately she stayed hidden during the days work and they were careful to keep room doors closed and watch for her. I did second test with her in the carrier zipped and locked. I even tugged on the screen flaps to check if there was a tear. With enough force, the joined teeth of the zipper will pop apart . Not good. Too late to return but I will try using large safety pins along the zippered teeth to reinforce staying closed . Or some other DIY trick. Probably spend the extra money for a good size metal kennel. If seller wishes to address this issue, I am open to hear back.
