I installed this in my Aluminum Jon boat. It couldn't have turned out better!! The material seems sturdy and it stuck to the aluminum really well!! No need for additional spray adhesive. Like most things, preparation is key. I laid the foam out upside down in the sun to get it to flatten out. I used some cardboard to make templates. I then traced the template on the back of the foam. I used a razor foam cutting tool and a metal yard stick to cut straight. As for the boat, I preped the surface by using a scraper to knock down the non skid that was on it. Then I used a scuffing pad from the hardware store. I did not strip the paint all the way off. Just roughed it up. Then I used diluted Purple Power to really clean it up. When I applied the foam I first only removed a small area of the backing along one edge so I could align it properly. Once it was good and straight I then peeled off the rest and stuck it down. Super happy with it!! Take your time and It will turn out well. Like I said, preparation is key!! Oh and I also had a small area of the material that came with an uneven appearance. I sent some pics to the manufacturer and they replaced it!!Great customer service!!

This was my 1st time reflooring a boat and decided to go with Focean Eva Decking Solide Grey for the sides on my compartments and my trolling motor foot pedal. This material is very easy to work with as far as cutting them to size, sticky sticky adhesive and all of my rolls came in the same exact color with no issues of different shades etc. I recommend that once you cut it to size, take your time to lay it on the decking cause it's very sticky and you have 1 chance to get it right. Overall, happy with my boat and it's looking fresh! Will definitely buy again!

Easy to cut with a new razor blade. Invest in razor blades!! I used about 10 for one sheet and trimming. If the blade is sharp it cuts like butter. Easy to work with. Seems to stick really good to aluminum, I have my doubts about the piece I put on a treated wood hatch. Time will tell. Color is solid all the way through the foam. Cons: only thing that was a pain for me was the foam came in a roll. I put it in my driveway with some wood to hold the edges down. The paper on the back is a little thin and doesn’t peel off as one on bigger pieces. Not a big deal though. Wider sizes would be nice. Overall it made my rear boat deck look and feel way better. I will be buying more for the front deck soon!

I ordered the 94.5" long x 47" wide gravel camo eva foam flooring. Unfortunately the roll was about 3" short of the 94.5" length leaving my project stalled out. I didn't have the materials needed to complete the floor for remaining area. If I want to finish it now I have to order another whole roll, doubling the cost of project. Peeling backing was difficult also. Seems like old stock issues. There are a few spots with inconsistent color or larger blotches, but minimal. It cut easily, adhesive appears to function well (be sure to roll it to activate the pressure sensitive adhesive) and so far is an excellent choice for my project. I'm using this in a residential bathroom for accessability purposes. Following a stroke my wife requires a lot of care. This product offers great slip resistance, and cushion under foot or wheelchair wheels. Easy to install, easy to clean too. Only wish it had been right size.
