I followed the recommendation to order a 20 x 20 insert for an 18 x 18 cover. The result had the look and feel of a basket ball with points. It was ridiculously overstuffed. It also tore the seam a bit near the zipper in the struggle to get it into the cover. I reordered an 18 x 18 insert and now it's just right. It looks and feels like a pillow should. I would suggest ignoring the recommendations and ordering an insert the same size as the cover. Other than that, the insert seems perfectly fine. Be sure to push some stuffing into the corners if they're not completely filled. ... show more

I read so many reviews regarding a pillow and decided to try this one. I'm so glad I did! I ordered the 28" x 28" for a 26" x 26" sham...as recommended. As you can see by my pictures, the corners filled out nicely and it was NOT like a basketball. There was a slight odor but sat it on the porch for a few hours and it was gone. I cannot speak of the durability as I just received it and am using it for decorative purposes on a bed. ... show more

I ordered 2 for my Aunt. Wonderful product! The pillow inserts are compressed and wrapped in plastic, but they fill out generously once removed from the package. (Give it atleast 15 minutes to expand to its proper size, people! DUH) The backing is NOT cheap & paper thin, contrary to some peculiar ratings and reviews. I would think half of you have never bought a pillow before. I even read a few reviews who complained about the pillow being mis-shaped when it arrived in its original packaging. ...You dont suppose the fact its wrapped up in tight plastic anything to do with that, geniuses? Take it out of its package and let it expand! LOL The quality is equivalent to a higher grade pillow at Wal-Mart, for half the price, considering you get 2. Worth the money and I will be coming back for more! They are made in the U.S.A. too. :-) ... show more

Have other inserts. I am always changing the pillow covers on my sofa & daybed. Want people to curl up & be comfortable.Noticed that guests were gravitating to two certain pillows. Then realized my family did too. It was these! They are full, supportive for those guests who want one behind their back. They are light weight, easily fluffed up to regally display the covers. I've ordered more to start replacing all my inserts with these. They also fit perfectly into the corners of my covers. After checking stores, these are underlined for the exceptional quality. Initially i gave a 2 star because i one of the pillows was a 12x20 instead of 18x18. I was contacted by the seller to fluff out/shake out the pillow because they are so compacted in the plastic that I could mistake the size. I thought that was crazy but I decided to check it further and sure enough the pillow shook out to be the 18x18!! I've never had that happen before! I apologize to the seller....I did get what i paid for. For now on whenever you get stuffer pillows that have been compacted, make sure you completely open and shake them out before you ask to return it! ... show more

This pillow fit my 12x20 pillow perfectly! Arrived in perfect condition, no damage at all like some of the other reviews. Also, unlike some of the other reviews, this pillow IS 12x20. I am very pleased with this stuffer pillow.

Very nice pillow insert. I ordered a size 20X20 for my pillow cases that were size 18X18 because people said to order a size up. They pillows are very over stuffed in my opinion. If I had to do it again I would have ordered 18x18, the same size as my covers. I'm hoping that with some use they might break in. Oh well, ... show more

These are not 20" wide. I measured them multiple times. Even if you measure from seam to seam across the pillow's puff, they're 18.5" at best.
