This is the only wired controller that I tested and know it works on Windows, Mac OS, xOS (iPhones), Android and Linux. The controller is tested by me on all these systems with ClearView On Windows and Absolute RC sim on online and mobile and Linux devices. How to Connect to iPhone/iPad (iOS) To get this working, you will need a USB-C OTG (On-The-Go) adapter. You must follow these steps exactly: 1. Plug the controller into the USB-A side of the OTG adapter. 2. Press and hold the button on the face of the controller (located between the sticks). 3. Continue holding the button while you plug the USB-C end of the adapter into your iPhone. This is the critical step: The button must be depressed at the exact moment the controller is plugged into the phone. Only then will iOS recognize it as an Xbox controller. I was looking for a dedicated FPV controller for my FPV flight simulators, so i wouldn't have to mess with my real controllers. The BetaFPV controllers looked good, but I read about a lot of problems with those, so I did some more searching. I felt like I was taking a chance on quality going with such an inexpensive controller, but it had good reviews and I didn't really find any complaints on it. I was pleasantly surprised, though light weight, it doesn't feel cheap, the sticks and switches are precise, not flimsy in any way and it works great in the sims. Set Up was a breeze, basically just plug it in and it worked perfectly out of the box. The cord is a little short but that can easily be swapped out with one of the many USBC cords I have laying around. I would recommend it, really I don't see why you would need anything more expensive when this one looks and feels and works great.

I misread the description and have no use for this controller. It looks nice. Playing with controller just to get a feel for it. It’s comfortable in my hands. I like the way the thumb sticks feel when operating. That’s as far as my review goes I can’t speak on software compatibility.

Nice control for practicing your drone skills before getting out in the field. The control is lightweight but strong and capable for its use. Install on pc was a breeze, but do wish it came with some apps or games to start. I had to download a game from steam to test and everythings works great. I feel with some added games out of the box this control will be a great value.

I have always tried to use a normal gamepads in games for rc drones and even rc planes but it just did not feel right and i could not get a hang of it so when i saw this flydrone game controller i wanted to give it a try and see how i like it and do with it. When i first received it i liked the build quality of it while it's light weight which really you do want a controller to be more light than heavy but it still feels solid and comfortable in the hand and the control sticks are very smooth feeling and the toggle switch's has a nice snap click feel to them and it does feel like a legit rc drone and plane controller cause i do have a couple of real rc drones to compare the controllers and i also like that it uses usb type c instead of mini usb than when it's plugged in it detects as startrc in game controllers under windows 11 and you can test it out to make sure all the buttons works. Than first game i tried was fpv skydrive and it detected the controller right away and i was off flying drones and everything was smooth with this controller and it was like flying a real rc drone than i also tried it with rc plane 3 which is just planes and it also detected the controller and i just had to change some binds on it and it worked out perfect so you forsure can use this for planes also, And another thing i was happy about chrome os also detects this controller perfect so you can play the android games that is listed also if you have a chrome book which i also have so i can't wait to try out all the other games that is listed. I had no issues at all with this flydrone s8 controller it works perfect and it is much better to use than a normal gamepad for drones and even rc planes games and I'm sure this can be used for other flight games also and the build quality is great and for it's current value which was 40$ i say it is well worth it and as i am typing this i do notice it's unavailable right now but forsure keep a eye on it cause it is worth getting and i am glad i did cause i love it so it does get a solid 5 stars from me👍

My son and I are just getting into flying drone simulators after flying real drones for a while now. It's a lot less stressful flying them on the computer vs in real life. This controller is better than using a game controller as it gives you a more true feeling of flying an actual drone, but it's of average quality as both a drone controller and game controller. Good starter controller however for the price point.
