  • Works well and attracts flies of all sizes
These work well!! They trap small fruit flies to large bottle flies. I'm not sure why some rate these so low as they work as intended. Once a few flies stick to the tape it will attract other flies to do the same. Great price for so many rolls. They are very sticky so take care when hanging. Also, when pulling to open make sure to go slowly so the top loop doesn't pull out and the bottom roll stays attached to the bottom of the tape strip. Once hung the rolls will eventually uncurl. ... show more

  • Very effective!
Omg we love these! It’s as gross as it is satisfying! Not only do they catch flies they catch all flying insects. So in Georgia we have tons of gnats and god knows what else flying around in this heat and they all get stuck to it! Simple to place on windows, takes seconds. Easy to replace, just throw away and apply a new one. Really like that there are a bunch in a pack! ... show more

  • Works if bugs fly into it
They worked ok. They were pretty sticky. It was certainly a mess to set them up. I think everything that touched them stuck to them but didn't seem like anyone was attracted to them The tacks are pretty flimsy so I was not able to use them. The tips kept bending. Overall though if anything touches it, it is going to stick. ... show more

  • Skeptical at First — But These Fly Strips Really Work!
I was skeptical at first--never used these before and didn’t think they’d work. We brought home some fruit from the market and were suddenly swarmed by tiny flies. They seemed to multiply nonstop, and no matter how much we cleaned or swatted, we couldn’t get rid of them. My husband suggested we try these fly strips and just put up with how ugly they look for a week or two. He was right--they work! You do need a little patience. I expected all the flies to immediately swarm the strip as soon as we hung it up, but it actually took overnight for the first few to stick. Once they did, though, dozens more followed! Most of them were the smaller “baby” flies because we already did a good job of getting rid of the adults. The photos I posted show two strips: the first one was completely full of little flies, so I hung a second one next to it. By the time I grabbed my phone to take a picture, flies were already starting to stick to the new one. Highly recommend these. They’re simple, cheap, and they really do the job! ... show more

  • Works as expected.
These are highly affective. They don’t have any smell or anything which is great and they seem do attract the flies very well. The only thing is that they are VERY sticky so just be aware when opening them up. The first one I opened got stuck to my finger lol and it left some residue that’s takes a bit of scrubbing and soap to get off. It other than that they are great. ... show more

  • I'll stick with Raid Ribbons, These have no attractant on them.
Unlike Raid or other fly paper's these seem to leak at the top of them getting your fingers and hands all sticky. Is why I'm giving it a 3 none of the others I have ever used does that where I have to use commercial grade soap to get the adhesive off my hands. They work and catch fly's I do notice though for some reason they do not attract flies as well as brand names like Raid, they do for the money have more then the brand names do so that is nice. They are not as long as I had hoped and they do not straighten out they stay wavey pretty much forever. Raid is 16 Ribbons for $11 these are 24 for $13 but if you equal out quality over the quantity I would say just buy the Raid ribbons these do not seem to have an attractant on them unlike Raid where the minute I put those up before I even set it the thing has 3 flies on it. Overall I would say they work okay but not as well as other's I used in the past. ... show more

  • IT WORKS!
I've used this product before. It's very sticky and works great on pesky flies, fruit flies, and gnats! You have to follow the instructions to get the product out and usable. Be sure to put it in a pocket, roll it between your hands, etc. to warm up the glue so it opens smoothly, and pull straight up on the tab while unrolling the package until it's at its full length. I was amazed at how quickly it took care of my fly problem! ... show more

  • It does the job - with a few inconveniences
The tape does not attract flies to stick - more like, if insects fly in that direction, they will stick. The sticky ‘tape’ curls so much it will not stay flat - it might if you attach something heavy on the end. Be careful because it is very sticky. I handled with my fingers and immediately regretted doing this; it took a while to scrub the stickiness off. Probably better to sacrifice a tissue to touch the end if needed. I took a star off for the sticky inconvenience, and it is truly gross to see the fly stick onto the tape - but yes, it does the job well. ... show more
