Purchased this carpet to cover an area of exposed basement concrete. I wanted a low-cost option that would suffice until all the existing carpet gets replaced. I’m pleased overall with this rug purchase. It was on sale as a lightning deal at a deeply discounted price which significantly enhanced the Quality/Price value. It serves my intended purpose well. It is very soft and plush. It has a nice appearance. I appreciate the non-slip backing. The sponge layer is quite thin and provides little in the way of comfortable padding when on an underlying hard surface though. It is not a premium quality area rug, but that should not be surprising based on the price. I rated it 5-stars when considering the $56 price, otherrwise it would have been 4/5. Pros: • Attractive appearance. The color of product was as advertised and consistent with the images presented. • Very soft and luxurious microfiber feel with decent pile height. • Non-slip rubber backing is appreciated and reasonably effective on the smooth surface beneath it. • It arrived well packaged, vacuum sealed, and I did not notice any unusual odor or chemical smell. • It is lightweight and easy to move. • While it seems easy to spot clean if its nothing sticky, it is difficult to vacuum. • Good value in terms of quality/price overall, which is mainly due to its low cost ($56 lightning deal) and not high quality. Cons: • Since it is vacuum packed it will take a couple days to fluff up completely. You could use a blow dryer to speed up this fluffing process if so inclined. • The sponge layer is thin and provides very little padding to cushion walking or sitting on it. It would be better if placed on a nice pad or existing carpet. • It sheds quite a few fibers. • It’s challenging to vacuum as it tends to get sucked into the vacuum, especially those with moderate or high suction • Based on the thin nature and shedding, it is unlikely to withstand high traffic areas or frequent vacuuming over the long term. • The edges are not stitched so are more prone to curling, but I’ve not noted fraying yet. As long as one understands this is a low budget area rug whose value is based primarily on a low price point not high quality, and their expectations are realistic for this low price point, they should be satisfied overall. It is not a premium quality area rug, but you are not paying a premium quality price. While it is very soft, its padding is minimal and thickness marginal. It is likely of limited durability. The lightning deal price of $56 was great and I’d purchase again, the current $110 sale price of 27% off is probably fair, the list price of $150 is too much and I would not purchase it at that price.

Came exactly as described the color is very nice soft and thin rug was a very good price I needed something for the living room that my baby can learn to crawl on and look nice to guest (since it's the first room seen when coming in) I'm very satisfied and liked the Velcro spots that help stick it to the floor so my toddler can pick it up. 4 stars for now will come back in a month or so to let y'all know how it held up

i got this while redoing my room and it held up really well, you have to use low setting on your vaccum to clean and its washable a lot of the reveiws were saying it was 99 but mine was 50 and it a 8x10

I wasn't exactly sure what the other reviews meant when it said the rug was "slippery" but I understand now! The fibers of the rug are long and might be plastic coated (unsure what the material is) so when you walk on the rug your feet actually slide around a little bit. Which, feels a bit unsafe. And the look of the rug is more "shag" than I was hoping. So it looks a bit cheap. But overall, you can't beat the price. So if you're looking for an inexpensive large rug, this isn't a bad choice. It's nice and soft to the touch.

I bought this for my daughter as a Christmas present. I was on the fence due to reviews but then did some research and decided to try it. So glad I did! She loves it! It is super soft with a high pile (aka long fur). Now it’s not like walking on a bath mat and I feel like this is what other reviewers were expecting. It’s just as squishy/ plush to step on as my living room rug which cost into the thousands. (It’s actually squishier because the fur). The rug was extremely reasonable for the price, looks lush and would feel more luxurious with a nice rug pad underneath. We didn’t go super high end we found one for $20 or $25 at HomeGoods but I’m sure Amazon has something similar quality/ price. This isn’t necessary since the rug had some non slip grip on the bottom, the rug pad just insulates the rug from the wooden floor to keep your feet a little warmer and adds slight cushion. Again you get what you pay for more cushion is a higher price it’s that simple. (Also note plush squishy wall to wall carpet has a pad under it too! Grab a carpet sample it’s the same thing… rugs/ carpets are not bath mats). The only “downside” if you’d call it that, is the high pile (plush fur). A standard vacuum will likely have issues running over it. I’m guessing using the hose extension and taking some time will do the trick. Think of it like a fluffy bath mat or blanket you can’t throw in the washer because of size. This isn’t negative against the product just an FYI cleaning might take additional care but isn’t impossible. (You could likely shake it out too.) Depending on use you might need to brush it occasionally to keep it fluffy it depends on how much you actually want to maintain. A cheap dog brush would do the trick. Final review goes to my daughter and the dogs who find this rug their preferred place to lay down (on the floor at least). Shortened - it’s great, it’s very lux for what you pay for considering the size and price. No rug is “bath mat squishy” (that’s a rug pad - most likely an expensive one if bath mat squishy is the goal) It’s super soft like you could lay down and pet it like a fluffy stuffed animal. I’d consider one for my own bedroom if I decide to redecorate it’s really nice! Final word… don’t let others’ poor expectations skew the ratings. It’s nice. Keep expectations in line with price and you’ll be quite happy!

Very pretty bluish grey color. It’s very soft with a bit of cushioning. This rug exceeds expectations. It curled at first because it was vacuum sealed but once it relaxed, it’s been nice and flat and doesn’t travel too much. It looked bald at first but improved after vacuuming. It seems like it will last longer than anticipated.
