I have hard wood floors and I needed something with a nice grip to prevent sliding. The grip is nice and the rug itself has a nice feel. Very soft & fluffy. It comes in a vacuumed sealed bag but as soon as I tore the plastic it fluffed right out instantly. It did have a slight smell when I first unwrapped it but that went away once it was open. This was purchased for my teenage daughters room. It’s super soft and the color is just what she wanted. It holds on the wood floor and doesn’t move around. I’m able to vacuum with ease. So far it seems it will wear well. It had a bit of an odd smell at first but it dissipated quickly.

Shocked how nice this rug was. Was concerned 1) because it’s so cheap for its size 8x10 and 2) because it came air sealed in a tiny box instead of rolled up, but when I opened it it was nice quality and definitely the softest rug I’ve ever bought online or in stores, so soft it’s almost slippery lol. It did have that little china smell, but not unbearable and went away in less than a day of it being unpackaged. So did the packaging lines. Would buy again. ... show more

I purchased this rug thinking it would not slip. I have hardwood floors and it slips everywhere. So disappointed. it's a nice rug and soft. I was hoping to get a fluffy lovely little area rug for my small 8 x 10 room. This is not what I received. I had high hopes from previous reviewers and I possibly got something that was problematic and not like what other people received. First of all, it smells. It smells like ammonia. Walking into your office and smelling a waft of ammonia or… “cat pee” is not inviting. ( I did wait weeks to make this review so that it had time to air out and it still smells. ) Secondly, the description and previous reviews talk about how comfortable it is and plush, etc. I stepped on the rug. I slipped and thought I was going to bust my butt. It feels like it has some sort of coating and it is slippery still weeks later. It does not feel comfortable whatsoever and walking, barefoot is a sensory nightmare and a slip and fall hazard. The only positive I have to say is the color is pretty. I will probably switch this out for something else that I have seen and felt in person because this is an epic fail. I’ll just have to realize that I lost a chunk of money and keep moving.
