This was a Christmas gift for my 8 yr old cousin and she absolutely loved it. Its the perfect size for her and she’s able to carry it with ease. She says it’s very soft. And the colors are beautiful. The filling is soft and does keep its shape. You do have to give it a few days for it to take its full shape. This is not a true bean bag chair. Yes, it says faux and here is why... It is shaped as a bean bag chair, and despite it saying it uses "beans", it is foam filled. Very comfortable and supportive foam filling and fluffy, soft cover. My grandson loved it. Be aware that it comes vacuum-packed - so it’s a heavy block out of the box, at first. Be sure to take it out at least a day before you want to use it or give it as a present. It was such a condensed block that I honestly was afraid it wasn’t going to expand in time for my grandson’s birthday party. The directions aren’t completely clear so I’m going to share with you what I learned – forgive the long explanation. The directions tell you to cut the vacuum bag but NOT to cut the inner liner. Okay, so you’ll see an image of a scissor and a line - so you cut that outer bag but inside that bag is the vacuum-packed product in what looks like another liner. Well, I was confused because it said not to cut the inner liner. So, I tried to pull part of that liner away from the product as much as I could thinking that I was seeing the foam filling (nothing looked fluffy at that point). Then I just left it overnight hoping it was going to expand as other customers had said. Now, the good thing is that the next day it had expanded. Then clearly I could see that I was seeing the cover (not the foam filling) and it was fluffy. So, I cut the clear cover off so I could shake the chair and fully expand the foam filling.     • Cute wish it had a zipper and different filling

Cute but the filling is cut up leftover memory foam and foam pieces, there is no zipper so I had to cut it to remove 6 grocery size bag of filling so that it was able to squish down enough for a toddler to sit in.
