Arrived vacuum packed in a small box that weighed less than 5lbs. The non-slip backing works so well, it doesn't budge on my hardwood floors. The fabric does have a "slip" as other reviews have said, but we haven't had any accidents. It is also very soft, my entire family likes lounging on it. The shag is long enough to loose a cheerio but the rug vacuums cleans very easily. It's the same gray as pictured, a slightly blue hue to it in the sunlight. Lastly, the edges are thick and don't seem like they will curl up. I'm so happy my husband purchased this rug, I was so doubtful but it is seriously the best rug. ... show more

    • Perfect for a girls room
This is so soft and fluffy. It's not too big and not too small.the bottom seems to be well made. It's got a nice thickness to it. It's Perfect for my girls' room. They like laying on it, but I know it will unfortunately get dirty quick . I am a little worried about cleaning it, based on the instructions it's not supposed to get soaking wet. However, based on my experience, to clean and maintain something like this seems to not be too much of a hassle if you know how to do it, especially since the rug isn't too large. You're supposed to wipe it, not wash nor soak it. I suppose I would get some liquid soap along with washing powder and heat it up with water till completely dissolved. I would wait for it to cool down since heat may damage the fabric. Then gently wipe with a semi wet sponge or cloth. Material like this eventually becomes matted but if you got a cat brush it will get rid of the the tangles. To make it soft again, I will probably gently mist it with a diluted conditioner or fabric softener. Just in case the color darkens, maybe when it's getting wiped, I'll finish with a vinegar mist and let it sit out in the sun to naturally brighten it. ... show more
