Hello shoppers, if you’re reading this, then — like me — you probably care about how your movies, music and media sounds! I’ve taken a great deal of care with my home “theater” audio setup but I am not a millionaire who can simply throw money around and buy the most expensive things. For reference I’m running a 5.1 surround system with an aging, but Japanese-built Onkyo high current receiver rated at 75 watts per channel and my front and center speakers are all Polk audio. So; on to the product review. The way my living room is set up puts my couch right up against a wall so I have absolutely no space behind my main seating area for rear surround speakers and when I saw these, I was intrigued. I mounted them at ear-level, so just slightly higher than the back of the couch, and — holy moly — they are amazing rear surround speakers!! Clear highs and great midrange adds that whole experience of true Dolby 5.1 or DTS. The first thing I watched was a few episodes of Game of Thrones and from the ambient sounds “behind” (dogs barking, wind, people chatting) to a dragon flying overhead, to swords clanging and waves breaking on shore, these little guys just immerse you into whatever you’re watching! I also had some good EDM on to see how they did with music and I was very impressed! Ben Böhmer never sounded so good at home! So if you’re still reading this, and you need a good wall-mounted rear speaker option for a really great price, these might be your best option! I meant to return these initially. They had been ordered by mistake... I will spare everyone the details. Anyway, one thing led to another and I ended up buying a 6.1 channel receiver to upgrade the sound system for my living room. Since I had space for more speakers, I decided to try them out. They had sat in the original, unopened box for 2 weeks at that point. Context: I already had 2 pair of decent bookshelf speakers and a subwoofer. The sound was already quite acceptable. However, adding these puppies to the mix added depth and a crisp acoustic to the room that it did not have before. I'm no stereo guru, I don't have experience setting up home theaters, but I do know good sound. To anyone wondering, these speakers perform, and for the price point, they're a great value. I will start off by saying WOW!!!! 🤩. These bipole fluance speakers are truly perfection. I had rear starfavor bookshelf speakers and they weren’t bad. But I felt like there was something missing in the sound. Then I hooked up these fluance bipoles turned on a movie. And OH my my. Perfection. I was hearing sounds in the movie you wouldn’t even think would come out or exist with surround sound. But these speakers truly bring music and movies to life. They are true utter perfection. If you got the money for them and on a budget they are truly going to blow you away. I bought the used version and they came from fluance packaged very well. And look brand new and perform like they are brand new and I saved $50. Purchase them and bring the true sounds of music movies and audio to life. Like it’s meant to be heard. ... show more

Very nice sounding speakers, but not top tier. For the price, I'm happy with them. probably comparable to low end of say Polk or Klipsch lines, maybe just a hair below. Definitely nice speakers for movies and TV. Good range, good definition, no perceived "holes" or gaps in the spectrum of sound. Decent highs, not much in the way of lows BUT for rear/surround speakers you WOULD NOT EXPECT THAT. They have solid mid-range with enough low and high to work for surrounds. Binaural is nice but not sure it makes them "standouts" and they don't have the same vibrance and clarity of a higher end name. But still, they are clear, smooth, and defined. The enclosure looks good, feels and appears solid quality. The mounts, however, were a complete joke - I welded some brackets to screw into wall to mount speakers - that worked well. I put these in the basement rec-room as rears of a system powered by Onkyo AV receiver with Klipsch ref series for front, center, and sub. These are the "weak link" in that system, BUT they still sound "good" so for what this system is, it. While they don't sound exquisite, they don't cost exquisite either. They are "as expected" for the price, which is in the "good quality" range but NOT audiophile or even near-audiophile. ... show more

The speakers arrived well packaged. The speakers are heavy for their size. I used them as rear surrounds in a 5.1 configuration. They paired nicely with my Onkyo Stereo and Polks. I got mine for $105 plus tax. They sound amazing for the size. They are heavy and build quality is spectacular for the price. I like how there are 2 speakers built into 1 speaker, and you only need 1 set of wires to power 1 speaker with 2 woofers and 2 tweeters (biamp). Not sure how they make money on this, probably not much. The speaker material is quality and heavy. Mine are on a desk. Seem heavy to mount on wall but they have built in brackets on back to mount on wall ... show more

Needed some new rear surround speakers and these did not disappoint. My living room is approx. 25 ft long and 15 ft. wide. Seating position is in the center. I am running a pioneer receiver, Sony sub, and Bose 301 series IV for fronts. As soon as I hooked up these speakers they filled the room with sound. The impressive design was perfect for rear surround. I may get two more for a 7.1 surround, but I don't know if it is necessary. Bottom line, WELL WORTH THE MONEY. ... show more
