Very well made. I haven't used it yet but you can tell by the looks it is a quality built sprayer. I have a backpack pump up sprayer but when you are spraying a large area continual pumping gets tiresome. I am looking forward to spraying my periwinkle (vinca minor) with a fungicide (daconil) a second time with this sprayer. The first time I used the pump up sprayer and used 9 gallons of spray. I think this new sprayer will do the job well. If it doesn't live up to expectations I will report back.

This sprayer is so awesome that I’m not sure where to start. I guess I’ll start with the battery compatibility. We have lots of Dewalt tools that require a battery which means we already have several batteries and a docking station for those batteries. What an awesome feature that it’s compatible with multiple other popular brand battery systems. I was thrilled that we didn’t need to find yet another place to store and charge a different battery just for one tool (sprayer). The Quickswap lived up to its name and it was relatively easy to install the adaptor so that our Dewalt batteries would fit. Next, I really like that it’s a backpack sprayer. No more lugging around a heavy can that I keep having to stop to bend over and pump. I think that’s my biggest issue with spraying weeds. It’s a backbreaking job to keep having to stop, bend over to set it down, lean over to pump it up, then lean down to pick it back up just to do it all over again. Because it doesn’t require pumping, I just fill it up, strap it on, and I’m good until the job is finished. The sprayer holds four gallons, so of course it’s heavy, but once it’s strapped on it’s not too bad really. Also, because the steam is pretty powerful, I find myself not leaning over to spray either, so it’s a total win win. Ooh and the straps are reasonably padded too so that help make it a bit more comfortable too. As for the sprayer itself, it seems pretty well made and I’m happy with the quality of workmanship. As expected, it’s mostly plastic but it does have copper fittings. I had thought that I would still need my pump sprayer for smaller jobs that I just didn’t or want to strap it on my back, but it has a handle on the top and it was no problem at all to just grab it quickly to spray the small area without ever using the straps. As long as I clean it out well, I can use for multiple things. It comes with different tips to control the spray patters to suite my needs. So far, I’ve used it to prep my siding for cleaning and weeding. I’ll also use it for bug control as well, but I just haven’t gotten around to that. I’m super happy with this sprayer and so is my back!!

I was impressed by this sprayer. I am on acreage, and spay along fence lines and planting borders. Using a mower driven sprayer is not precise, and carrying a heavy sprayer, with its need for constant pumping, is a pain. Battery life is good - I am able to spray two full tanks (haven't tried more) on one 6AH battery. That battery barely fits under the cover, and I believe a 4AH may work fine also - I just happen to have 6AH batteries. The fact that I can use currently owned batteries using the included adapters is a big positive. The backpack design works great for carrying this weight comfortably. I found it is best to have this setting on a short wall or truck tailgate so I can slide into the harness without trying to pick it up from the ground.

Construction quality is very good. Thick plastic chamber for liquid and the pump assembly. The ability to swap between brands of batteries is an awesome feature. Pay attention to polarity when swapping plates though some are opposite. Fits a 4.0Ah battery under the cover with zero issues. Assembly is a breeze and they use brass fittings and not plastic. Sprayer generates good pressure as well. The only negative comment I have is the roller snap is extremely tight to wear i thought the wand was going to break getting it in there. This will loosen with time and use. Overall an excellent power sprayer.
