    • Everything but the floor switch
Really like the look, especially the glass shade. I'm fond of white light so that this comes with a daylight bulb doesn't bother me, though I know for a lot of people they may prefer a warmer color. It's a standard E26 socket so it's common to find a bulb to replace the included one with. There does seem to be some inconsistency in the color. The base seems like stone white while the pole is almost a stark white. But even the pole isn't as white as say, socks or printer paper. And due to the material difference, the glass is another different shade of white, but it matches the pole quite well. I'm not sure what they were going for with the graphic of the dog trying to tip the lamp. The lamp does not have an anti-tip feature; the base is just weighty and is meant to prevent easy tipping. That said, it's tall and will tip over if someone runs into it. Perhaps the swaying they were trying to demonstrate is what happens when you don't completely tighten down the pole to the base. I can get that to happen but it looks stupid and feels unsteady. My real problem with this is the floor switch. They should have added more weight to the bottom of it so as to keep it flat on the floor. It keeps wanting to buckle, and whenever I move the lamp, I have to fuss with readjusting it. ... show more

    • Kind of cute but cheaply made
The concept is cute but it’s very cheaply made and very tippable. The warm light and glass shade is a nice addition to any room. However, I’d only recommend this if you plan to put it in a corner so it won’t get knocked down by kids/pets, and so you can’t see how cheap it is unless you get up close. I’ll probably return this. Also the packaging was awful - I haven’t had styrofoam packing in forever and this was the worst mess the way they packed it. ... show more

    • Easy to Assemble
This is a very small floor lamp - by which I mean, slender and lightweight, not short. It was easy to assemble. There are little black rings on the collar of each section; go ahead and remove and discard those. That was the only thing I needed to check the instructions for. They are just there to prevent the paints from getting scratched. The lamp is quite light. After I assembled it and took it to plug in where I want to use it, I put my foot on the base and twisted it to make sure each section was tightly screwed together. It is just the right size for the small room I want to use it in, but it would be a bit swamped in my living room. (That said, it is plenty bright.) ... show more

This lamp is great but I had to switch out the bulb it came with. Every time you turn the lamp on with the original bulb, it cycles to the next light temperature. I only want it on the warm light setting, so I switched out the default 3-way bulb with a regular 1-way bulb and now it's much better. I do like the fact that they include the 3-way bulb with the lamp, though, and will keep it in case I need it for something else. I'm knocking off a star because the design is a little too simple. If there had been a way to keep the default bulb on the warm light setting by default, then it would have been perfect. Overall, still a great lamp though. And super quick & easy to put together. It also looks really nice with the minimalistic design. I plugged it into a smart outlet so I can use Alexa/Google Home to turn it on/off easily and set timers. ... show more

This floor lamp will work in any room. It's simple and basic but still looks nice. It was easy to put together and seems sturdy as long as you make sure all the pieces are screwed together tightly. The floor switch is okay but you have to place the cord in a convenient location. I think a switch higher on the lamp would have worked better for more situations. Not ideal for a pet owner, we bought this light to brighten up a dark workspace and not even 24 hours in the glass shade is broken thanks to my cats or dog??? The base isn’t heavy enough if you have pets or toddlers in the household. Light itself is decent, light bulb included is harsh white light but can easily be swapped out. ... show more

    • Great little lamp
I set mine up in no time, my only problem/issue with it is that the lamp shade/glass bulb does not tamper down. It'll swing if the light pole tilts, but will not fall off as it is held down by the screwed in light bulb. The foot pedal is a bit short on the power line, but it works fine for me.
