Ordered first time and got the product soon, but the one bulb was not working. Buld has the remote function attached. If the bulb is gone its like a normal lantern. I returned to amazon, immediately replacement was given. but this time the mother lamp switch was loose. I would tell the manufacturer you need to do proper quality check and remote to me attached to lamp body and not with bulb. I ordered these because I wanted cool operating LED lights with remote controls as hubby has had a stroke and I wanted to turn lights on fast if I needed them. I didn't want to spend a lot of money. Because the lights in my son's university dormitory are not bright enough, I chose this lamp for my son. He loves it and says it fits his room perfectly. This light is easy to assemble. Gooseneck lights are great for reading next to, and you can move around the smaller light if you need direct light in certain areas. The illumination of the lamp is very sufficient. The only downside is that my son didn’t find the remote control. He thinks the lamp can be controlled with its own switch, so he won‘t return it. This lamp is simple and practical. It uses the regular base light bulbs, which means i can easily replace them if they burn out. Comes with a remote control that can change the light color temperture. Lamp base is heavy. So it wont fall. And the lamp covers are plastic. They wont shatter in case the lamp falls. I love it. The first one I purchased the remote would not work. When I called for help, I was told to re-package the whole light fixture and they would send me another. (If you know what it is like to unravel,twist and turn different parts, it was exhausting. Two hours later. I repackaged the light and UPS picked it at no cost. A new one arrived and I repeated the whole process. This time the remote did work. I held my breath just thinking, What if I have to repackage this one also. Happy Ending. The "mother" lamp doesn't screw all the way- its loose (Anyone having the same issue?). Also the holder pieces ("Sticks") get easily loose.. Not very sturdy... For the purposes of giving enough light for my room- this works...
