I just received this floor lamp and it was easy to assemble. It is lightweight and tall enough to use at my computer desk. There are many brightness levels and brightness temperatures which is a great feature. The bendable neck seems sturdy and moves easily. There is a remote control which is a very nice feature. The remote has instructions and is very easy to use. The remote also has buttons for a 1 hour timer and a nightlight. I will use this at my computer desk & will order a 2nd for my bedroom so I can use the nightlight feature. Bought two of these lamps, and they are so easy to put together and have so many brightness options that we bought a 3rd one. We will be buying two more for the guest bedroom. We bought them in white, and it's a regular white shade (not yellowish, not grayish). Each lamp comes with it's own remote, so since we have 3 lamps, we'll have 3 remotes. The remotes work great, but we haven't found a reason to use them, yet. We highly recommend these lamps. They're very modern & clean looking, and they don't take up a ton of space like regular lamps do, and you can fit these into tight corners or spaces without enough room. For the price this lamp is wonderful. I use it for sewing and enjoy the remote control and range of brightness. It was quite easy to assemble and works exactly as described. Only complaint I have is that it is top heavy and often wants to fall over. However I slip the base somewhat under a nearby piece of furniture for stability and that works for me. I’d recommend it based on price and functionality with the understanding that you have to deal with a chance of it falling over without taking some extra precautions. I love this floor lamp! It was easy for me to assemble by just adhering to the diagram on the box. You could see that it was very well made and is very durable yet easily maneuverable and I love the remote control panel and the many light selections offered. This is a 5 star product without a doubt.
