I've had quite a few plant lights and this one is my favorite. The style is slim and doesn't take up a lot of space unlike the ones with the arms and the wide legs. The look is modern and very nice! I liked it so much I just ordered a second one for my other plants. When I first got it I thought they sent me the wrong one as it seemed shorter, but the bracket adjusts to make it higher. This one is a winner! Edit: I've gotten a bunch of these now and my plants are thriving! I only have one where this doesn't seem to be enough light for which is two bromeliads in one pot. I think the light with two heads will be perfect for it though. ... show more

There's lots to love about this grow light that I picked up for my avocado plant. The controls are easy to understand, and it gives off a lot of light. (I used a smart plug to measure the power draw - it's about 12W). The stand is also pretty well made - the base is metal and has weight to it; I'm confident the light won't tip over (even without the plant resting on it). The photo shows the pole adjusted to its highest position (~16 inches). The light is about 20" off the base, for reference. If I were to split hairs, I wish the electric cord ran through the entire pole (rather than coming out at the top); I also wish it were a little taller. I don't think that's a reason to take away from the overall quality, however. ... show more

I like this little lamp. It does not put out much of any heat and puts out plenty of lumens for these little succulents. I have been using it for 1 week and I can already see improvement on my plants! Its easy to adjust the height, brightness and color. Its well worth the money.
