As the title suggests, this is a case not many are talking about. I thought to myself why? Well for one at first glance it looks very similar to a lot of generic cases. It’s also priced higher than the average case. However, recently MobileReviewsEh on YouTube rated this as his number 1 performing case. Of course it intrigued my interest but not enough to order. However a week ago I came across an instagram reel of this case on the silver 17 pro along with the Flolab black camera lens protectors, and the look was just 🔥, kind of like a stormtrooper look. The combo sold me and placed the order for the lens protector and case right away. First impression, meh. It felt and looked like any other clear case. However I quickly noticed the small details which are different. The buttons and camera bump have a polished finish, which has a nice contrast against the matte finish of the case. The frosted clear back is matte with no texture, the muted aesthetic looks awesome. The frost back does a great job minimizing fingerprints or smudges as well. Most of the inner bumper is lined with TPE for maximum shock absorption. Nice to see so much TPE being used when manufacturers are using it less or in small amounts to cut cost. A slight detail that will go unnoticed is that the bottom back of the case is slightly raised so the clear back won’t make contact with the surface when put your phone down. Also the lip in the front is raised substantially. Even with a Flolab screen protector on, it extends past a good amount. For those who like customization, a cool factor of this case is that the buttons AND camera bumper are changeable. Flolab sells many colors you can buy and change to create your own custom look. I like the monochromatic look of black & silver. It’s a great case but nothing is perfect right? Absolutely. The two things that bother me about the case is the bumper isn’t texturized so grip is minimal, it isn’t as grippy as Caudabe Synthesis and dbrand Ghost 2.0. The buttons also aren’t as tight as the other higher end case manufacturers. The Flolab buttons have slight movement but clicky. My third objection which is subjective is that it is a somewhat a thicker case that adds some heft and weight to the phone. I know many love that, but I don’t. I tend to prefer slimmer cases. So, why do I love this case? Aside from the aesthetics, the most important aspect is the large amount of TPE used in the bumper. This year the Pro Models have a softer aluminum body. Many have posted that their phone got damaged even through a case from drops. This case combines TPU, TPE, and reinforced polycarbonate which is crucial as it absorbs shock and vibration from impact. This will stop the body of your phone being damaged from drops. I highly recommend this case for those who are seeking for a case that blends aesthetics and protection very well. While I absolutely love this case, it won’t be my main one. I still love the Caudabe Paragon due to its incredible slim curved design and the Pitaka for the bare feel. I will use this case for gym, hiking, and other activities that require a more protective case. Side note: The Flolab lens protectors are sick. They don’t cause any disruption to the quality of photos and the black aluminum really adds a nice contrast. They are compatible with all my cases including the Caudabe Paragon with precise cutouts and the dbrand ghost 2.0. ... show more

I’ve gone through a number of cases for my 17 Pro, but none of them would check all the boxes for me, until this case at least. What I like: - It feels very solid to hold; you can feel the quality - Actually really good fit, like a case that tightly hugs your phone with very little flex around the screen. It will also completely cover the color of your phone from the front and hide any light bleed from screen protectors (unlike my Apple Techwoven case) - All buttons are covered, even the camera control, which is important to prevent dust accumulation inside the case (a key consideration for cases with clear backs — this is my issue with the Dbrand Ghost 2.0) - Strong magnet; even if I shake it off my phone grip it will not fall off (for reference, I use the Torras stand with the finger loop) - It looks so neat, the black color especially goes well with the silver iPhone (I also added the black camera protector ring just for aesthetic haha) - Has a lanyard loop - Cheaper than most other alternatives (Dbrand, Caudabe, Mous, etc) What could be better: - It’s not as grippy as I was hoping, I still use a phone grip with it. Other reviewers say the frosted back has worse grip hence I went with the clear back. - I do wish it is ever so slightly thinner, you can definitely notice the bulk when you start comparing to the likes of Dbrand Ghost or the Apple cases - The lanyard loop actually covers some speaker holes — I haven’t noticed a noticeable impact on the sound but it does bother me If your case requirement looks similar to mine, you might appreciate this one! I love this case it has great design that goes well with my white iPhone 17. Very protective but does add a bit of weight. Quality is great and has a snug fit on the phone which I personally prefer. Buttons are clicky. Easy to remove even with the snug fit. Worth it!

This case is legit! Simple YouTube search is all you need to do to understand how well it will protect. One of the few on the market that have a full layer of TPE on the inside bumper. I’ve never been a fan of clear cases, but the matte black with black ring and border looks awesome on my cosmic orange 17P. Has a tight fit, it’s lightweight, it will add a little bit of bulk, but if you want lip protection that’s going to be your trade-off. Currently rotate this case with my Caudabe Sheath, Phone Rebel Air2, and TechWoven. A+ from me! ... show more

I really like this case. The item is higly rated in drop-test scenarios from multiple internet sources. Very sturdy, with a polycarbonate case, TPU edges and TPE protection on the inside that sets it apart from cases that don't perform as well in the drop tests. The camera ring and buttons can be popped out and changed for alternate color customization. The case fits tightly around the phone and doesn't come off when carried in my back pocket, like some cases do. What could improve it? It does not come with a built in Stand or Ring, which would be an improvement for convenience. You can buy a grip seperately and it will hold to the included magnets in the back of the case. Solid overall design: The transparent back looks clean and modern, and the MagSafe ring plus the camera lip stay bright white and sharp-looking. Good protection: The bumper feels sturdy, and the case fits the phone securely without adding too much bulk. Premium feel: The materials don’t feel cheap, and the clear back resists scratches better than many other clear cases I’ve tried. The Big Issue: The White TPU Bumper The bumper is made from white TPU, and this is where the case struggles. TPU is notorious for absorbing oils and dyes, and this one stains fast. I found myself needing to wash it almost daily with Dawn dish soap just to keep it looking presentable. Once the stains set in, the bumper never really returns to that crisp white—it just looks worn and dirty. The result is a case that starts out beautiful but quickly loses its clean aesthetic unless you’re extremely careful or willing to constantly maintain it. Recommendation: If you’re someone who takes your phone everywhere—pockets, bags, car cup holders, gym, outdoors—then the white bumper is going to be a battle. I have dropped my iPhone more times than I can count and it has protected it every single time. I was hesitant to spend this much on a case, but it turned out to be completely worth it.
