Surprisingly nice LED candles!
Color: Plexiglass Red-3
I didn't think I'd like these candles nearly as much as I did. I bought a BUNCH of these packs for my partner who was having an art show and wanted to set the mood around the gallery space. This was supposed to be a quick last minute cheap addition, but after the opening, we brought them home and set them up around our living room. It feels really romantic for these to kick on each day and they really warm up the space. I can't speak for all the other colors, but while these candles aren't going to trick anyone into thinking they're real on close inspection, the red ones have the right flicker and pulse that they feel "real enough" if you just want to set ambiance and won't study them closely. The red colored candles reminded both of us of Catholic church and though neither of us are religious, we can get into the sense of mystique these "candles" imbue without having to deal with constantly swapping out tea lights and feeling badly about discarding the outer foil of each candle after use. I liked these enough that I ended up ordering more for my personal work space. The light is not so bright that it will light up a room. These are essentially on par with real candles...maaaaybe a touch dimmer. They're for mood only or perhaps a night light, but won't really help you see much of anything. Unlike other LED candle brands we've tried, these candles run off of one single AA battery. We've had others that use 2 AAs and don't last nearly as long. I can't say exactly how long the batteries last, but I know disposables lasted way longer than I thought they should have. Rechargeables need to be changed a little more often but there's less waste and, in the long run, lower cost. If you get these for every day use, I'd recommend investing in some rechargeable AA Lithium Ion batteries (not Ni-Cad) and a charger. I'm thrifty and somewhat ecologically conscious, so using rechargeables helps save money and makes me feel less guilt. If you buy a bunch of them, you keep them rotating so you can swap them out immediately while you charge up the spent ones. The included remote is a nice feature. It's easy to have a room full of these and turn them on and off en masse. You can also set them on a timer so they kick on at the same time every day and turn themselves off after 2/4/6/or 8 hours. We have ours turn on right as it's getting dark, and "burn" until we're about ready to go to bed. The only slightly annoying thing about these is that when a battery dies you need to reset the timer. That's to be expected with candles this affordable. There is no secondary internal battery that keeps a clock going, so if the battery dies and/or you replace it, you'll need to reset the timer as well or it will just stay on until you manually turn it off again. This can be inconvenient since it's more common that the battery will die sometime in the middle of the timer for the rest of the candles, but you just manually turn it off when the others go out, and then reset the candles the next day when you want them to turn on. It's super easy with the remote.

My Fifth Order and Still Very Impressed
Color: Plexiglass Grey-2
I have ordered these candles multiple times, and they have consistently performed very well for me. This is now my fifth order, and I have been pleased with every set I have received. Each candle uses only one battery, which is one of the main reasons I keep buying them. I leave mine on continuously, and they usually last about three weeks before needing a new battery. I have not found another realistic flickering candle that runs on just one battery and still performs this well. The "Gray-2" flameless, one AA battery candles are my personal favorite because they look the most realistic. They also give off enough light for relaxing in the tub and reading, which is something I frequently use them for. In my experience, every order has arrived well-packaged. Each candle has been individually bubble-wrapped, and every set has included a remote that works properly right out of the box. Based on my repeated purchases, I believe these candle packs are a very good value. I cannot speak to other people’s experiences, but mine has been consistently positive. I am a repeat customer, not affiliated with the company, and not being paid for this review. I have continued buying these because they have worked exactly as I hoped.

Great candles
Color: Plastic Black-9
Work well. The double remotes is nice, and the 8-hour timer works perfectly.

Attractive Candles with a Few Minor Drawbacks
Color: Plastic Black-9
I was so excited to purchase these to place in my non-working fireplace, and they do look beautiful when lit. The remote and timer feature is very convenient, though sometimes it takes a couple of clicks to get all the candles to respond. The flicker flame really does look nice in encloses spaces like the fireplace I'm using them in. One thing I don’t love is the design—the candles are quite skinny, and the tops could look more realistic. Still, they create a nice ambiance and work well overall. Tip for buyers: Use good-quality batteries for best performance. If you’re looking for a realistic wax look, these are not the best option, but for decorative purposes, they’re a solid choice.

They look perfect in our fireplace
Color: Acrylic White-2
I’m not sure why Amazon shows this as a frequently returned item. I think these candles are great! They look like real candles in a glass pillar instead of just a plain wax candle sitting out on its own. The flame does not actually flicker or move, but the flame pulses to give you the impression of a glowing candle flame. With all nine of them sitting tiered on a wrought iron stand in our fireplace, it actually looks like the candles are glowing, and the flames are moving. No, they do not look like real candles up close, because they’re not real candles. I think the expectations of some purchasers were just too high. Each candle takes one AA battery. I can’t say how long the batteries are going to last, because I only turn on these in the evenings when we have guests. The remote works perfectly, to turn them on and off. You get two remotes, I’m not quite sure why, but they both work just fine. Once in a while, one candle will not light, but if you hit the on button a second time it lights up with all the rest. The rest of the time they do look like there are real candles sitting inside our fireplace. I’m very happy with this purchase and I would purchase them again.

Great candles
Color: Plastic Black-9
Love these candles so much I bought 3 sets of them. They're a smaller candle, but that's what I was looking for. They only require 1 battery which is great. The only fault I have is the first and second set have an orange glow while this last set is more of a yellowish glow. Would definitely recommend; 9 candles and 2 remotes is a great deal.

Nice candles
Color: Acrylic White-2
I really like these candles overall. Price is great compared to others. They are plastic rather than glass, so they’re very lightweight and easy to store and transport. They flicker nicely and are very attractive. I like that you get three different sizes. They have a warm, amber glow which is nice but I do wish they glowed a bit brighter or whiter. The remote function is fantastic so you can position them wherever you want and turn on/off with the click of a button.
