I treat my air hoses with complete disregard. I leave them out in the sun for days, jerk them around, drive over them....you'd think I'd learn my lesson after so many destroyed hoses, but no...this hose has taken an entire summer left outside in the grass and dirt under a punishing sun (which destroyed my Harbor Freight brand hose in 5 days)...It's been run over with cars, wheel barrows, work boots, and kids ride-on cars, and it's just as flexible and colorful as it was when I bought it. Not sure how Flexilla does it, but I'm impressed. By the way, get a longer hose than you think you need; this is a light hose compared with all the others I've owned, and it's really easy to roll up. My only regret is that I didn't get a longer one...it's a much more pleasant work site if the compressor is far away. ... show more

I bought the cheapest HF (can't say the name) compressor they had, because all I need is to blow up footballs, soccer balls, etc., plus keep my tires at the right pressure. The problem was, the only hose they had was stiff! And I thought, well, with a 1/4 inch fitting, what do you expect ... Along comes this thing. Guys, this hose is like SILK. It's so incredibly soft and flexible. Buy this, and you will NOT be disappointed. I'm still amazed by this thing! How do they do this? ... show more

1/2” hose is great for high flow items like spray guns or sanders so there’s less pressure drop along the hose, but keep in mind the fittings are 3/8” NPT rather than the air tool standard 1/4” NPT, so you may need some fittings.

I gave several of these air hoses and they are lightweight and very convenient to use. Highly recommend them. They are durable and have held well in the past. The only weak point is under pressure they can get cut or punctured on sharp objects a little easier than conventional heavy rubber hoses but they make up for that weakness in ease of use. It seems like it will last, and I like the hose and color. It's very flexible and soft, that's a big plus for me. I will order another 50' of hose because of the quality and high vis of the color.

Good hose but needs a better outer covering. The covering gets dirty quick. So it negates the high visibility quickly. But the price is right.
