I'm an aircraft structural technician, so I pretty much have an air hose attached to myself all day. I wish I knew about these hoses decades ago. They are fantastic. They do everything that one in my profession desires. I bought the 3/8", 35 ft hose. It is very lightweight, so when it's attached to an air tool there is not any pulling or imbalance on the tool, which creates fatigue throughout the day. It's well made. The strain reliefs are attached well. It doesn't have any memory at all, so when you roll it out in the morning, it truly does lay perfectly flat on the ground, just like a heavy rubber hose does. It drags over all obstacles. Frames, stringers, doorways, etc, without any resistance bc it has zero tendency to kink or create small loops. And when it's time to coil it up at the end of the day it easily, effortlessly coils into a small loop. Surprising quality and functionality, especially for the price. I couldn't be happier. This hose is lightweight and had no leaks the first time I used it. Normally I would have to use Teflon tape on fittings, these were tight! I had absolutely no issue with kinks when I ran this hose throughout the house. Coiling the hose up after use was simple. Just stretch out the hose and twist and loop it onto itself. I am wishing I would have bought the spring-loaded reel system. The value is undeniable. I have an older 50ft hose that wouldn't reach without moving my compressor, so I bought this hose. I got sick of the other hard hoses and got this instead . Very happy with that decision. It barely ever kinks and it’s flexible . It does retain memory but it’s easily cleared .

I purchased the 3/8” 50-ft hose. True, it is much lighter and a more flexible hose than others I have owned and It does not kink, but I would argue the point that it “coils easily and lays flat with zero memory”. Not so. It twists and holds tight coils very easily and I have to pull out all 50 ft, lay it out flat by un-coiling it every time I want to put it away. I bought this purposely because I wanted a hose easy to wrap up and hang. This is NOT that hose. On all other counts this is a great hose but having to untwist the coils before putting away has become tiresome. Maybe a heavier all-rubber hose would hang better? ... show more

    • 5yrs of use and abuse and still completely reliable

Had this 5+ yrs and used regularly (purchased 1//6/2020). All that time is has been installed on a hose retractable reel with continuous pressure of between 125-150psi which says alot to its reliability. originally was a leery about buying this hose as i had alway had rubber or pvc types which always had ridiculous memory issues. well, when the previous hose blew I said WTH and gave this a try, so glad i did. this has become one of those things i don't have to think about, it just works every time i grab it. what more can a person say. I will add, im honestly quite surprised i havent had any issues as it has been run over several times, had heavy solid core doors slammed on it quite a few times while doing remodeling and lots of general use and sometimes abuse. when it finally does give out, I will absolutely buy another. hopefully thats not for a while yet. ... show more
