We started getting lots of false readings, like alerts saying that there is no movement detected. I decided to by this camera arm because the price was right and the reviews were great. Now we have a clear picture of the entire mattress and the Cocoon Cam is working optimally. No more movement picked up from outside the crib and the breathing monitor is more accurate. I highly recommend this product. The arm is of high quality, does not feel cheaply made and assembled right out of the box. The best thing about it is that now we can bring the camera with us when we travel, or move it from room to room with ease. This was a great purchase.

Saw some review of whom had the same camera system, which had good things to say regarding the camera mount/holder and its ability to hold the camera and maintain good positioning. I needed a baby camera mount since my dresser was not tall enough for the ideal line of sight of the baby in the bassinet. Saw this on amazon and checked out some similar products, but this fit the bill. It holds the camera beautifully and using the velcro strap that was included helped make the camera secure in case it happens to fall out or get bumped causing the camera to fall. The clamping system (screw the spindle) works well as i clamped it to my window sill and made sure not to make it too tight which potentially can cause it to break (it is made of plastic after all). The camera gripper is simple to use, simply squeeze the clip to open the jaw and place camera in between and resting on the silicone grippers. You my friend are ready to view your baby with any angle you choose to set up the arm at. From a just not received and install, I recommend the product and will likely buy them as a baby shower gift for friends and family.

We didn't want to mount anything to our walls so got this as a solution. It works just as it should and I love the flexibility it offers (rather than mounting it where it is fixed to one spot. We can use it in any spot we want in the house. It's easy to affix to a table or dresser. It's flexible and bends easily while keeping our desired position. The neck of the mount is also very long so it helps to get a far enough view from our camera (infant optics) so the camera gives a while view of our baby. Highly recommend if don't want to mount your monitor.

I decided to buy this product in order to mount my baby camera to a crib rather than have it hang on the wall. It is very easy to adjust and to set up. The only problem I have is that my specific baby camera will slip out of the grip from time to time if I move it around. I have to find the “sweet” spot in order to get it to not slip. Other than that good product for the price.

This thing is awesome. I did not want to drill holes in my wall, and my little one was getting crafty at finding ways to knock the camera off (I had it rigged up pretty poorly); it was getting to be very unsafe. So, I ordered this device. It was super easy to install and it works. I get a far better angle on the crib, and I can easily reposition if/when I want the camera to focus on other parts of the nursery (e.g., her playpen). Ten thousand thumbs up. Also, I received this product within 24 hours of ordering it...you can't beat that!!

This product was so worth it for us. Our kiddo sleeps in his crib in our room, so we needed a temporary set up for when he naps because I'm a paranoid first time momma and want to have an eye on him. Before buying this, I had a precarious system of putting his camera on top of a formula box on top of his boppy pillow... on our bed... Good grief. I was getting so sick of setting this system up, I went to amazon to try to find something to help out. THIS PRODUCT WAS A LIFE SAVER!!! We have it holding our Infant Optics DVR 8 camera flawlessly. In the picture, you can see it is on the right side of our computer, pointed downward to the crib. It is sturdy, both the part that clamps onto items (it's a twist on clamp) and the pinchers that hold the camera. They also send you a velcro strip to doubly secure the camera also. It's been so awesome for us and I can see it being amazing if you travel with your kiddo as well. I was worried the camera would fall out if we had to turn the camera angle, so I tested it thoroughly and basically moved the camera lens remotely back and forth like a crazed maniac. This little holster held strong the entire time and didn't even bounce.

I ordered this because the furniture placement in my little girl's room doesn't really allow me to set the monitor down & have a good view of her while she sleeps. The slats in the bed frame would obstruct my view of her. I didn't want to mount anything to my wall. When I saw this suggestion while shopping around I figured I'd give it a try. It works beautifully. It took maybe 1 minute to attach the mount to a daybed frame that I have near the crib. The monitor is securely clamped and the wiring is out of the way. I'm very satisfied with this purchase & I'd recommend to anyone who needs a better/higher view of their baby's crib. I wish I'd had this 5 years ago with my first little one.

It is easy to use but with the camera I have the clamps block the on off switch. So every time I turn the camera on or off I have to take it out and put it back in hoping its positioned right. The only other issue I have is that the other day I came home and the camera had somehow fallen out and was laying I. My babies crib. That makes me nervous about it falling on him. I'm thinking it was a bad repositioning I just dont want it to fall on my little one. Other than that I think it is a good product.
