Bought this to put around an over the door light fixture that leaks. But I used it first when my little dog's plastic steps fell apart. I had put it back together with every kind of tape and gradually when it fell or got knocked over, well it came apart again. Now there was a large nut that was plastic that came out when the steps were new and never stayed in. Well I did not read the instructions as to how to pull off and I cut off two square pieces not of large size to put the nuts back in , then taped with the square I cut out. I was amazed at how it stuck and sealed . The steps got knocked over again and again and the tape was still stuck and the plastic nuts remain. I hope it works that well to cover the top of the light fixture that leaks! So proud! ... show more

I saw the commercials for this product showing a guy floating around in a boat with it, using this product to stick underwater, etc. I bought it to patch a tiny hold in my plastic hot tub figuring this was just the item I needed. I first attempted to put it on with water in the tub. The piece I put underneath the small hole with water in the tub did not stick. Okay, I thought, like the ads, I'll just put a piece on underwater over the crack. The second this stuff hits water, it doesn't stick at all. So that was worthless. Okay, I thought, I'll just drain the tub, put the tape on both sides of the crack while dry, let it cure and refill the tub. I was amazed at the lack of flexibility of this stuff, does not go around any sort of bend well at all. Regardless, put the pieces on the dry plastic, let it sit for 24 hrs, then refilled the tub. Within a couple of hours, the interior piece was flapping around in the water. The "stick" was completely gone in both hot and cold water. This stuff is worthless. I really hope no one is actually trying to fix a roof with it, water will go right through it. It does not stick when wet and barely sticks when dry. I'd like a refund, wish I could get a refund on my time spent wasted on this. ... show more

We have two air mattresses. During a recent camping trip we realized each has sprung a leak. We tried patching with a bicycle inner-tube patch kit and duct tape. That didn't work out too well. Once we cleaned off the adhesive from the failed attempts, we applied a patches made from Flex tape. That was the perfect solution to our problem. The mattresses are holding air and ready for the next camping trip. Great product! ... show more
