It’s made with PaintBlock Technology, a super-absorbent polymer that reacts with the water in latex paint and instantly gels to form a micro-barrier that seals the edges of the tape to prevent paint bleed. The result is a crisp, professional paint line. Designed to work on a variety of surfaces, this premium grade masking tape delivers a performance you can be proud of. What Makes FrogTape Brand Painter's Tape Unique? Designed for use with latex paints to avoid paint bleeding. View larger FrogTape is the only painter's tape treated with PaintBlock Technology. PaintBlock is a super-absorbent polymer which reacts with latex paint and instantly gels to form a micro-barrier that seals the edges of the tape, preventing paint bleed. The result: Very sharp paint lines and less time spent on touch-ups. FrogTape is also available in a convenient storage canister. The canister protects the tape edges from being nicked or damaged and keeps the tape free of dirt and debris. No special prep work needed, other than a clean, dust free surface that is dry. Tips For Best Results Using FrogTape Clean the surface to be masked with a mild detergent solution. Make sure the paint surface is dust-free and dry. For accurate placement, adhere FrogTape in short sections to avoid stretching the tape. Make sure FrogTape is flush to the edge that you will be painting. Using a putty knife, or 5-in-1 tool, press the tape you laid to burnish it to the surface you are masking. Remove painting tape immediately after you are finished painting.     • FrogTape: The Best Painter’s Tape for Clean Lines
FrogTape is hands down the best painter’s tape I’ve used. It really lives up to its reputation! I used it for a couple of home projects, and the lines came out so clean and crisp. The tape sticks well to walls and doesn’t peel off paint when removed, which I’ve had issues with in the past with other brands. The best part is the PaintBlock technology, which helps prevent paint from bleeding under the tape, even with a little bit of moisture. It’s a little pricier than regular painter’s tape, but it’s definitely worth the investment for the professional finish it delivers.     • Great Way To Hang Up Dorm Room Posters, Lights, or Paper Calendars!
I bought this tape to hang up drawings in my dorm room, and so far, it’s been working great! I’m using just a small amount of tape to hold each paper, and it lays flat against the wall, which I was pleasantly surprised by. It’s also really easy to remove, and two weeks in, none of the drawings have fallen off! I also found that I can easily remove the tape from the back of my drawings without damaging the paper (just regular printer paper), which is a big plus. One thing to note: If you're using this tape on painted walls, I recommend replacing it every month because if left on too long, it can adhere to the walls and take some paint off. Additionally, I wouldn’t recommend placing it in direct sunlight for extended periods (like two weeks) because the adhesive can start to melt, leaving residue on the wall. ... show more

This tape is the greatest; I use it for crafts and I wouldn't use any other. There's value for the money, excellent adhesion, durability, yet not too sticky. Very user friendly.

    • Works very well as general purpose masking tape
I prefer this to conventional brown masking tape. This is easier to see when placed and is a superior quality product vs. Amazon masking tape, which tears easily for me. This is strong tape and adheres well. I haven't had it long enough to know how difficult it will be to remove in a year or two. And it probably would work as painters tape, but haven't tried. ... show more
