When I use this tool my hair stays straight for days! It comes in a pretty pearl-like color which is aesthetically pleasing. It also can create beautiful curls as tight or as loose as you prefer. I use this hair straightener when I travel and it works great. It is a bit smaller than your average sized straightener. I probably would not use it as an everyday hair tool because I have tons of hair. However, it is good quality for the price point. It gets really hot without making the handle heat up. I haven't used it as a curler but as a straightener, it works well

I got this KNJOQ Flat Iron Hair Straightener and Curler mainly for travel, so I wouldn’t have to pack both a curling iron and flat iron. I can make curls with my current high-end flat iron, but they aren’t that defined. I hoped this one would give me better results, and while it does make curls, they’re on the smaller side and tricky to extend evenly down the full length of hair without feeling like you’re stressing it. Where this tool really shines is in creating flipped ends and curled tendrils, especially once you get the technique down. * Style & Appearance: Sleek and compact, it's designed to double as both straightener and curler. It has a simple on/off button and side lights that indicate heat levels. It’s functional, but it doesn't seem like “professional grade” compared to higher-end irons, although the side lights do seem quite nice for the cost. * Size & Portability: It's small enough to be travel-friendly, and it should easily fit into most people's carry-on bag. That’s one of its biggest advantages: it replaces the need for multiple tools. * Accessories Included: It comes with a comb and two hair clips, which may be helpful for sectioning but aren’t strictly necessary. A storage case and/or travel pouch would have been far more useful than the included comb and clips. * Heat-Up Time: The product description claims 15 seconds, but in practice it took closer to 45 seconds to be fully ready (I tested it with a stopwatch). That’s still fairly fast, but not quite as advertised. * Heat Settings: Four temperature options (280°F, 320°F, 360°F, 400°F) provide flexibility for different hair types. I used it on the lowest setting and still noticed some dryness at the ends afterward, which was concerning. I would be cautious about using higher temperatures, especially on fine, dry, fragile or color-treated hair. * Performance on Hair: - Straightening: Smooths hair effectively with minimal snagging. - Curling: Works best for flips at the bottom of the hair or curling smaller sections into tendrils. Creating full-length curls is possible but more challenging and requires practice. The curls I made did fall out fairly quickly, so you may want to have hairspray or another styling product on hand. - Technique tip: Wrap hair around, twist and release as you move down the shaft for tighter curls. Small sections produce better results. * Material & Technology: Ceramic plates with negative ion technology are intended to reduce frizz and seal moisture. My experience was mixed. My hair looked smooth, but felt slightly “crispy” at the ends compared to my salon-quality flat iron. * Safety Features: Blue light indicates power, and there’s an auto shut-off after 30 minutes. The swivel cord is convenient and prevents tangling during use. I would always unplug it rather than relying on an auto shut-off feature. * Versatility: Beyond hair, flat irons like this can serve other purposes (sealing mylar bags, quick clothing touch-ups on collars or lapels), which adds value, especially for travel. * Anticipated Durability: I'd say it feels decently sturdy for a budget tool, though I wouldn’t expect it to last as long as higher-end brands. Fine for occasional or travel use, but probably not built for years of heavy daily styling. * Value for Cost: It's very affordable compared to salon-grade irons. Calling this a "professional" flat iron seems like overreach.. For the cost, it performs well enough for a home tool as long as you're careful not to over-crisp your hair. * Bottom Line: This is a handy 2-in-1 tool for travel and occasional styling. It works great for flips and tendrils, but it's not a substitute for a high-end flat iron if you rely on consistent full curls or daily use. Best suited for those who want one compact, budget-friendly tool rather than top-tier performance.

Great for travel! It's a smaller straightening iron, so definitely takes up less space in your suitcase. It's heat level setting work well, I straightened my hair without issue on the lower setting. The quality of the iron seems very durable and it did what I bought it for, and that was to straighten my hair and be a good size for travel. Check and check!

Such a pleasant surprise for a compact flat iron! It heats up fast and the plates glide smoothly without snagging my hair. I’ve used it for both straightening and curling. it gives shiny, frizz free results that actually last. I used this on the lowest setting for curling (140 degrees) and I was amazed. I didn’t use any product and my curls lasted all day. This curling/straightening iron is revolutionary for me as I haven’t had a curler in such a long time and this was pretty intuitive and not as scary to use. I like that you can see the levels of heat on the side but I think the lowest setting is more than enough for my hair if I’m doing it in finger-sized sections. I’m not really sure how the ion technology works in ceramic products but I believe it! My hair didn’t feel crispy or dry the following day and after taking a shower with my usual shampoo/conditioner, my hair health has been just fine as it’s ever been. I only like to curl my hair every once in a while like once a week but this is more than adequate and at an amazing value. I love that it has a closure lock button to keep it from opening so it makes it a lot easier to keep stored away and to keep from burning your hands by accident. I still recommend not touching the sides if it’s still on or on standby of course because it’s still very hot but the closing clasp is great for security and portability reasons. And I love the rotating bottom wire so never any wire tangles ever, that’s so revolutionary to me! Finally lol. Highly recommend this product! For yourself and as a gift!

This flat iron is perfect for both straightening and curling! It heats up super fast in about 15 seconds and has four heat settings to match different hair types. My hair comes out smooth and shiny with less frizz, and I love that it has auto shut-off for safety. The compact design makes it great for travel, and the included comb and clips are a nice bonus.
