Features

  • Easy to Print: PLA has a low melting point, typically between 170C and 180C, which makes it easier to handle during the printing process and suitable for various printers. Its low melting point also reduces warping, ensuring a stable printing process, particularly for large projects.
  • High Precision and Aesthetics: PLA offers a wide range of color options and excellent gloss, making printed models more visually appealing. Its good layer adhesion enhances the strength and durability of printed parts, ensuring high precision and detailed results.
  • Low Odor: During printing, PLA produces minimal odor and is almost odorless, making it more comfortable to use in home or office environments. This feature enhances the user experience, making it suitable for long printing sessions in various settings.
  • Clog-Free & Bubble-Free: Our filaments feature a clog-free design to ensure a smooth printing experience. Each spool is dried for 24 hours and vacuum sealed, effectively reducing bubble formation caused by humidity.
  • Dimensional Accuracy & Consistency: Advanced CCD diameter measurement and self-adaptive control systems guarantee that 99% of the filament has a diameter of 1.75mm +/- 0.02mm, ensuring high-quality prints.

  • Clean, smooth and bright prints
Style: 1KG
I’ve never printed with Flashforge filament before this spool, but will likely buy again. I’ve printed about half of this black spool and every print has come out really nice; smooth and clean. One print (notebook cover shown in this review) was over 30 hours long with only very minimal stringing, and I mean minimal…cleaned it up with the hot air gun in just a few seconds. I clean my plate well between each print, but this filament adhered well for each and every piece. The only thing I noticed was that the cardboard spool with rings is a bit large so I had to keep the AMS cover open; no big deal at all. If closed, the cover would prevent the spool from spinning freely, thus not retracting correctly, so keep that in mind. Overall, I still would rate this Flashforge black filament 9.8 out of 10. ... show more

  • Like others have said, brittle. DON'T BUY!
Style: 2KG
It's not a bargain when the filament breaks repeatedly. I threw out the last bit of the first roll because it was breaking 3 times per 2 hour print... or more often since it was also clogging the nozzle, ruining the print, so I had to restart. Now I can clear the clog with the tool and higher temps but it will not load the second spool without immediately clogging again so I think my 2 for 1 filament deal just turned into one spool of bad filament and a new nozzle for around $60. ... show more

  • Great filament!
Style: 2KG
This is great filament if you’re using a Flashforge printer as it flows perfectly with the accommodating machine. I’m using this on my Adventurer 5m Pro and I haven’t had any issues. My prints are beautiful and I would recommend this filament. My only gripe is the lack of white filament from this company. ... show more

  • The best PLA I have used, great price
Style: 1KG
I personally try to save money on filament, because I am never making anything important. When I saw this was the cheapest option at the time, I thought i would give it a try. I am super impressed by it, and will probably only purchase FlashForge filament going forward, as long as the price doesn't get to crazy. ... show more

  • Tangled and brittle
Style: 2KG
First roll was okay. Second roll was messy and knotted about 2 hours into a 6 hour print and I didn't notice until 2 hours later. So much filament wasted and now I need to order more to finish a big print. My flashforge printer is amazing but I will be buying my filament from Sunlu, Reality, or Bambu. ... show more

  • Decent for price
Style: 1KG
Out of the box and sealing needed to be dried in a dryer cause filament was brittle and not printing right. Once dried printed fine, but had a few overlaps on the spool that had to be sorted.

  • Affordable & Functional
Style: 1KG
The filament prints exactly as expected of any PLA filament and comes in cheaper than most in this quantity.

  • Worst PLA I have tried
Style: 2KG
(Picture to show how many times the filament broke from most recent print and warped spool) Sometimes I can't even finish a print with this stuff. It's so brittle that it breaks multiple times during a print. Both rolls of filament were horrible. They are dry no doubt about it because I have a Anycubic cobra 3 with Ace Pro. No issues with any other filament. This has caused me to replacement multiple hotends from jams, I had to take apart the whole ace pro to get little pieces of filament out. If you read this review please save your time and get something else. Lastly the card board spools are super warped after only a few uses. Can't blame humidity either, I live in the desert lol. ... show more
