  • More people should talk about flashforge filament
Color: Burnt Titanium Material Type: ABS Pro
Love the color. This filament works perfectly straight out of the bag. I only use it on stuff I want that’s functional. I made a pair of grips for the Rog Ally and they came out perfect. I had made them previously with pla but they broke after a week. With the ABS they are going super strong . Even with throwing my system in my back pack, that’s what broke the pla. Print through my AMS with zero issues. Stuck to build plate with zero glue or anything else. 10/10. The spool is great and no tangles. Flashforge makes a great product. ... show more

  • Vivid purple, way less smell and low tendency to warp
Color: Purple Material Type: ABS Pro
This stuff is awesome. I’ll spare you the monotony of pictures of packaging and desiccant. It’s flashforge….It came in a nice box, sealed, and most importantly, fixed their spool winding issues it appears like some of us saw with burnt titanium. so it’s spooled to industry standard. Half a spool down with no issues with kinks or knots crossovers etc and don’t expect any based on what I can see remaining. Purple ABS Pro is a modified abs, so it does have some trade offs with classic abs but not giving me an instant headache from the smell is a win. Don’t get me wrong there’s still a smell if you think hard about it but with the modified abs I find if it smells, you MAY be overcooking it. It’s quite a bit lighter color than the picture but at the same time if it sits against certain other colors the shade seems to alter slightly. It’s a very strong shade of purple with a magenta/pink hue in the mix. It’s decently strong and holds up to the heat well. It prints smooth through a variety of temps with no discernible difference in quality or stringing but seems to have better layer adhesion post print around 230c mark with a Bed temp of 90. As in printing at 230 it holds and doesn’t show signs over over or under temp and doesn’t delam. 120mm/s with no issues and could go faster but layer adhesion and strength may suffer. As far as warping, sure, it CAN warp on you if you don’t minimize the airflow around it but an enclosure to help with warping wasn’t needed as once it sticks to the bed it’s stuck. It does appear slightly more brittle than abs classic but that’s part of the trade off of less smelly and easier printing and I’ll gladly take it. Tl:dr it’s a beautiful color, less smell, slightly less strength than abs classic, low warping tendency, consistent diameter, smooth printing and one of the most vivid purples I’ve seen yet albeit slightly different than the picture. ... show more

  • Most underrated PETG Filament (shhhh... Don't tell anyone)
Color: Natural Material Type: PETG Pro
By far the best PETG filament I have used. I've printed close to 100kg of Natural and some Black FlashForge PETG Pro and have not have any failures (knock on wood). It prints consistently, only ever had 1 roll (recently) with a small tangle, and best part is how moisture resistant it has been. I live in the southeast US where humidity is high, but had leftover rolls unsealed for months and zero issues printing. I also noticed my latest batch of rolls (early 2025) they have moved away from hooking the filament end into the spool and moved to holding it with a small piece of tape. Huge improvement and solves the only issue I have ever experienced. It's awesome, but don't tell anyone because the price is still somewhat reasonable. ;) ... show more

  • Nice color and good filament
Color: Burnt Titanium Material Type: PETG Pro
A bit hard working with it with the flashforge 5m. All in all it worked well yet gave me issues on small parts where the base detached and ruined the print.

  • High Quality Filament, Provided Filament Settings
Color: Burnt Titanium Material Type: PETG Pro
This filament had a very consistent output. I printed it on a Bambu Lab A1 printer. To use this filament you need to select Bambu PETG HF and change the parameters to these settings: Flow Ratio: 0.97 Nozzle Temperature: 240C Max Volumetric Speed: 12mm3/s Pressure Advance: 0.034 Layer adhesion was very good. The price is a bit high though. I dried the filament at 65C for 6 hours and even while printing. This color does hide the layer lines vertically. I have not tested bridges, you might need to select Thick Bridges in your slicer or increase Bridge Flow to 1.03. ... show more

  • Worth the money
Color: Black Material Type: PETG Pro
This stuff prints like a dream on the K2 plus with Orca slicers default generic petg profile. Supports pop off super easy and the shine is beautiful on something like this helmet

  • Looks Amazing!
Color: Burnt Titanium Material Type: PETG Pro
The media could not be loaded. The best PETG I’ve worked with so far. It is very durable and it prints very fast. You get tons of filament for what you pay.

  • Burnt Titanium ABS Pro is amazing
Color: Burnt Titanium Material Type: ABS Pro
This filament (FlashForge ABS Pro Burnt Titanium) is gorgeous. Photos don't really do it justice. Yes, there's some glitter in there, but it's a modest amount and finely divided. It doesn't really read as "glitter filament" per se. Flash photos overstate the glitter effect because of the dazzling reflections. In person, the filament looks like a near-black metallic blue hue with highlights of brighter blue and purple. The overall effect is of deepness. It prints beautifully and adheres reliably to PEI. I did some initial tests and concluded that the sheen and irridescent effect is most pronounced at the low end of the recommended temperature range (220 to 240). But it's not a huge difference - use the temperature that works for you. The ABS version has a satiny finish. If you want more of an overtly glossy silk-like finish, you might try the PETG version. ... show more
