I bought this to complement the 0.4mm nozzle that came with my printer, mainly to do finer or smaller prints. What works: - easy to swap in / out of the printer thanks to the quick release - sharper prints for small items - good quality and value What needs some work: - prints seem a little stringy - I need to adjust either the compensation for shrinkage in my slicer or the flow rate - fewer presets available in the Flashprint utility - more prone to plugging than the 0.4 - flat surfaces show more print passes, as you'd expect with a finer nozzle

The Good: Ive been printing for a while now and will happily say that Flashforge products are pretty solid. Print definitions in higher quality are achievable with this nozzle and I have yet to clog it as well. The Bad: While definitions are higher, so are print times. Printing with a 0.25 noz can take 6 times as long as a .4 depending on layer height. The Ugly: My only critique, and reason for 4/5 stars, is that the nozzle and heating element are one piece which makes the price significantly higher than any other printers nozzle. However, the good outweighs the bad and while it is a tight niche item, its worth the buy.

I didn’t know what to expect from this item since I was new to 3D printing, but if you have a little brain and forethought this nozzle is perfect for those fine detail prints. There’s not much to say since it’s a 3D printing nozzle, just don’t mess up the settings when slicing the object, make sure you’re using the right settings for the right nozzle and you’re golden.

I loaded this in the extruder. Loaded filament and started a print. It snapped during the initial print with it, it broke off up inside my extruder. Dug down into the build plate and scraped off about a quarter size part of the PEI plate, and then my extruder made a popping sound. I took it out and then loaded the old nozzle back into the extruder. The extruder is ruined. I had to buy a new extruder ( PRICEY)! I am hoping that I just got a faulty nozzle here, and that the new extruder comes with a nozzle. I returned this to amazon, they have said they will send a replacement once they receive this one. I haven't received the new one yet. When I do, if it works, and doesnt break, and doesn't destroy my new extruder, I'll change my rating. For now, my rating is 0 star, but that is not possible................so 1 it is.
