    • USB-C Does not deliver power for Jackery Explorer 300, but 8mm jack connection works up to about 65W

The media could not be loaded. I specifically bought this to supplement my power input for my Jackery Explorer 300 solar charger. I have an 80W RichSolar panel going into the 8mm jack and tried to hook up the 100W Flashfish via the 60W USB-C Power Delivery input / output. The Flashfish will deliver USB-C power as advertised (up to 65W) for only about 5-10 seconds which is practically meaningless. I tried several times to get the Flashfish solar USB-C PD to work without success, it always works for a few seconds and then cuts off. Testing the DC output jack, the Flashfish seems to be able to deliver around 65W with my set up and this was less than expected. My other panel is only rated for 80W but I was able to get as high as 70W input with that panel alone in full sun. Flashfish alone via the DC jack was never more than about 65W in full sun, meaning that if it is in fact a 100W panel, it's not hitting the 75% Wattage output which I expect from a solar panel. The design and look of the Flashfish panel is great, I really like it. I would certainly keep it if it could deliver between 55-65W via the USB-C consistently, as was advertised. I would even consider keeping if it could output 75W DC, but it falls short there as well. I had high hopes for this model as there's a lack of USB-C Power Delivery output solar panels on the market, and wanted something to take advantage of the new USB-C PD feature on the Jackery Explorer 300. As a portable solar charger (without USB-C PD) this is a pretty good unit, but does not output as high as you'd expect. Planning to return Flashfish and I will buy a second panel to link in parallel to my RichSolar so I can collect more energy via the single DC input (and I will probably save money since the Flashfish is quite expensive on a per-Watt basis). Three stars as it's still probably good for some people's needs, but does not deliver on the USB-C Power Delivery claims, and that was my main reason for buying. ... show more

Charged my 300Wh power station from 25% to 97% in one day. I move it only three times and it works like a charm. Great work quality. No silly cloth handles that will rip in a year or two. And the material on the outside and back look very tough. The locked has enough space for an iPad and the USB-C charging was the decision maker for me because you need to use the solar as soon as possible. If it can pull all 45w then your devices will charge a lot faster than any usb-a port. I use it with my golab 300w and I use the regular barrel plug with no adapter. The cable is about 3 feet allowing me to put the solar panel on the top of my picnic table and the power station safely below it Awesome product ... show more

This solar panel really surprised me! I always thought solar panels charged to slow to Be practical for my use but this thing is amazing! I tested it while camping and after 2 hours of sun I gained 2 bars and was ready to go again! I like this panel as my other 60w panel folds 4 times. This panel opens like a book, has two kickstand and done. Multiple adapters so it can be used with more than just the FlashFish power bank. Flat for easy storage. Nice.
