I bought the 8 x 10 rug and it looks amazing on my hardwood floors. Arrived quickly. Has great neutral colors in it that it basically could go in any of my rooms in my home. Would love a smaller one similar that could go at my front door.

As soon as the rug was laid out the smell of moldy hay pervaded my home. I've tried to air it out for days, used baking soda on it and even a woolite spray to make this work but after 3-days I'm throwing it out. Unfortunately, the return requires me to pack up the rug ... which is not possible. This is my 2nd jute rug purchased in a month for the same room - the first one fell apart in 2 weeks. I'd suggest NOT purchasing a rug through AMAZON at all. Extremely disappointed and upset there is not recourse for providing a faulty product. ... show more

The color is beautiful and the texture is softer than I expected. You have to be careful not to use the roller brush on your upright vacuum, but other tools work fine.

This rug is very large and looked good except when I unrolled it the smell was horrible and it had mildew all over it. This rug was damp and molded and had to be throw away. There was no cleaning it.

We live at the beach and have primarily jute rugs in all our rooms. The jute material is so durable and easy to clean. We also love that the color is neutral so we can change out our decor often without having to replace rugs. This rug is fairly true to size, but remembering its a natural fiber rug means the measurements may not be exact and edges may not be perfectly straight. We love those subtle unique characteristics of a jute rug. The natural material is real grass, so of course the rug will have a smell and some dirt that falls off when initially rolled out and used for a few days. That’s no problem and something we expect. This rug rolled out flat so we didn’t have to battle curled edges. Color is slightly lighter than photos, but that is likely due to monitor settings or simply because its a natural product.
