I would NOT recommend this to anyone looking to use the hanging folder or standalone file drawer "feature." The side rails are to wide to accept a standard USA use hanging file folder (Pendaflex letter size type). The cross bar intended to support a standalone 11.6" x 8.5" file folders is not deep enough to support a file folder "David Allen" style. There is no conversion kit included for use in the North American market. This cabinet fits under my 23.5 inch desk clearance, with a little room to spare (could fit an iPad or laptop on it). I wanted more drawer space for my writing desk, which I use for my computer. It's difficult to match wood color - walnut, mahogany, mocha? This dark grey color blended in, although it's a little reflective (not a flat color, like office file drawers). But it looked nice! The drawers are really long and can hold a lot. The cabinet measures 15.25" W x 21" D x 22.5" H and has rounded corners. The divider for the bottom file drawer, which hangs on the top side brackets, is only a few inches high. If not packed with files, other things like manila envelopes and folders could slip under. Also, the divider was not wrapped or secured inside, so it had fallen behind the bottom drawer. I had to remove the top drawers to shake it out, since only one drawer can open at a time, and the bottom drawer would only open halfway. Unfortunately, I had to return it because of the stuck bottom drawer. I would've overlooked a small dent on the side, since it would be under the desk. The box it comes in has thick foam on the top and bottom, which makes it bigger. If you have trouble getting the box into your house, remove the cabinet from the box and just wheel the cabinet in. ... show more

Quality is nice. I like the fact that I didn’t have to assemble anything. The wheels were already attached which made things easy. Also seems rather sturdy. Worth noting that I have dark hardwood floors and the wheels do not scratch or leave marks on the floors. Very happy with this product.

This really shouldn’t be sold as a file cabinet. Only the bottom drawer is for hanging files. And only fits standard files toward the back of the drawer the with of the drawer. We have some other items from Flash Furniture that we've been pleased with so this seemed like a no-brainer. But what good is a file cabinet that can't hold the files? The wheels were jammed so that was strike one. The handyman couldn't fix that so all that can be done is to drag it which we considered because as file cabinets go, it's attractive with the rounded corners. But then we went to put the hanging files - letter size from Amazon inside. And they're too short unless they go sideways, which doesn't work with a normal setup. (Plus our interior is lopsided). Legal would be way too wide. On closer examination, it's also a little off-kilter inside. We're terribly disappointed. This is useless as a file cabinet unless you want to make modifications to it, which is our case can't be done because it's slightly lopsided. We can't recommend this. ... show more

I’m happy with overall quality and color of the filing cabinet. It arrived very well packed, so no problems with dents or other damage. As mentioned in another review, it was a bit difficult to unpack as someone who is smaller and older - however I realize the great packaging was what kept it damage-free during shipping. I am very disappointed with wheels, as they do not work at all on carpeting. During COVID, I am working from home at my dining room table, and was planning to roll the file cabinet from a closet into the dining room each day. Basically, I have to drag/push/pull it along the carpet which is a hassle and it’s relatively heavy, so I won’t be able to use it for my intended purpose. Not long ago I decided to switch from the old classic look of my home office to a more clean white look. I painted my orange walls, got a standing desk with a white top added an all-white TV cabinet but still, my file drawer was still the red-wood I had from my old desk. I needed to make a change but finding a good cabinet online is hard. You don't get a real feel for it just an eye. So after reading other reviews and going back and forth in my own head for a bit I took the chance. I am very happy with my buy. It's a metal cabinet and has the space I need. It sits a bit lower than my last file cabinet but I am ok with that because it keeps my printer from standing above my desk. If I was to have any wishes it would have been that it would have been at least one inch wider and the metal would have been a bit thicker.
