I am truly amazed at the quality. Works great on stereo devices and also helps convert a mono signal into stereo. I have tried it with high quality synths and also some of the cheap compact portable synths. Even the cheap low grade synths sound much better with one of these and they are always lacking good quality onboard reverb so that is a great way to pair them up and instantly make them more reusable for recording for example. Once you hear the wet signal , you will never want to turn off to hear the dry signal again - that's the best way to sum up how good this device sounds. The delay is good too but I didn't but it for that. As far as the reverb side goes, I just turn it all the way up - I am recording ambient music and that's the best effect. I was very excited to try this pedal after reading such Positive reviews, and it did not dissapoint, firstly the packaging, it is sleek and stylish and the pedal is well protected (see pictures) The eckoverb is a stunning multi mode stereo delay and reverb pedal, with three different modes offering a plethora of tonal options Mode 1 is a reverse delay plus a swell reverb Both the delay and the reverb sides of this pedal can be sculpted to determine the level of each effect you wish to have in your signal chain. This particular mode is my favourite, and the most inspiring to use imo. I found myself playing disturbeds version of "sound of silence" it really gave me the dramatic haunting type of sound, and works very well with a driven tone. Mode 2 is a reel echo delay and a modulated reverb, Straight off the bat, this gave me an old school shadows sort of sound, and dialled in i played apache, it really nailed that tape echo type sound. Mode 3 Analog delay + shimmer reverb Who doesn't love a bit of shimmer in there playing? You can have it dialled so you getting a light ambient sprinkle that dances around your notes, or full on spacial ambience. This particular mode i personally found to be a little overwhelming (this is just my personal opinion) the effect itself is excellent. It also has a tap tempo/hold switch, which obviously you can set the tempo, but when you hold the switch down you can freeze you trail, which is a great feature at this price point. You can turn off the trail feature by pressing the bypass switch. All of the effects can also be used in stereo mode, which is insane for under $100!!!! The only negative I found with this pedal, is that there is sometimes a little interference when plugged in with a distortion/overdrive pedal, not enough to be a massive issue, but an isolated power supply fixed this problem. It also worked very well when used in conjunction with digital effects (bias fx 2). No interference at all when using overdrive/distortion. To sum everything up, it is very well made, great aesthetics, and a very versatile delay/reverb pedal, with the ability to sculpt any tone you desire, all for under $100, its a steal, well done Flamma!!! ... show more

Nice good looking pedal worth the price. Three positions select delay/reverb combinations and you cannot mix and match (as far as I could tell). Gorgeous ambient reverbs on preset 1 and 3. Reverb 2 has a little too much modulation for my taste. Shimmer on 3 is nice, but not continuously. Tone can tune it down somewhat. Delay 1 is reversed, which I'm not into, maybe for a temporary effect, but not continuously. I want delay 3 and reverb 1 together, but no can do. Delay 2 is "analog" like, but again, with Reverb 2's non adjustable modulation, It's just a little frustrating. I got a fantastic deal on a flash sale, but I'm not sure I'll ever use this pedal, because of the lack of separation in choose what delay I want and what reverb I want. UPDATE: I bought this when it first came out. I purchased a Strymon Cloudburst at the same time. I was creating a pad for a song I was recording. It’s amazing that these two can be mentioned in the same breath. They don’t do the same thing but layered on seperate stereo tracks, they complement each other brilliantly. This pedal produces the best shimmer effect I have heard. On a live pedalboard it can be set for subtle effects or radically huge pads. What an amazing deal too! Back in the 80’s and 90’s getting an entry level digital reverb would cost 700-1000+. That would be a Yamaha R7 or a multi processor with 12-16 bit resolution and a noticeable noise floor. Today you can buy them with higher specs for under $50. This EkoVerb is not a high end unit as far as build- I’m not expecting a lifetime of use from it. That being said..l considered returning my Strymon Cloudburst (just for a second :) because the pads this thing produces are VERY high end sounding, smooth and complex. I’m not comparing it with the Cloudburst which has an ensemble effect that is like visiting Heaven. This EkoVerb can produce useful delays and verbs for a gig as well as shimmer verb that is so much smoother than other pedals. This is winner and an amazing value.     • Great, but Tap tempo has sound interference with some OD and distortion pedals

Sound is superb with clean sounds, but I found that the tap tempo on my unit causes a sound interference which can be audibly heard with each tap pulse with most distortion/OD pedals. I tried several distortion pedals when setting up a keyboard pedalboard rig and borrowed some pedals from a guitarist friend to see which pedals worked and which didn't as far as sound interference. Those that didn't cause a problem were the AC Tone by Joyo and and the Metal Muff, although the AC Tone at high treble you could begin to hear it. Others I heard the interference on were Trutone Jeckyl and Hyde v3, TC Electronics Dark Matter, Caline Tantrum, Americana, and several other low end mono pedals I can't remember the names. If you turn down the treble a lot on the distortion pedals the tap tempo interference goes down, but the high gain is sometimes what I want on the distortion! I probably will still keep it because I love what it does with clean tones, but this bums me out that I can't use it to its full potential because of this design flaw. It won't be on my live rig because of this and will be used only as a recording tool. That's a shame. They need to use shielded wiring on their components to fix this issue. China has come a long way, but still skimping on what makes great electronic products by ignoring basic electrical engineering concepts, all for a profit. Oh I thought they weren't capitalistic. Update: I now own both the Ekoverb and Reverb pedals. Here are both reviews: The Ekoverb is a nice combination pedal. I was pleasantly surprised it came with its own dedicated power supply. Someone here mentioned that the delay-to-reverb design is limiting, but reverb-to-delay would make zero sense. It’s fine as it is. I sat on the fence for months because the silver Reverb unit looked cool, but the Ekoverb’s reverse delay & shimmer sold me. No instructions included but it’s easy enough to figure out & there are tons of demos on Youtube. This pedal’s a keeper. Now for the silver Reverb pedal: It’s a gorgeous, amazing, buttery sounding pedal & much better looking in person. The LED color scheme makes it the most beautifully lit object I own. It’s 100% straightforward & easy to use & program. Whoever designed it is a lovely human being. Another keeper. Each of these pedals has its own distinct sound, so it’s not redundant to own both. While the Ekoverb is loaded with options, the Reverb is a beautiful no-brainer. ... show more

So I’ve noticed that all the reviews are about different pedals, I personally got the Ekoverb reverb and delay pedal. I was hesitant at first to get it because of the price and some of the reviews but after trying it out I’ve learned that it’s actually an amazing pedal for such a good price! I would highly recommend this pedal to any new pedalboard builder looking for a good reverb and delay all in one package. This pedal is extremely versatile and will get you incredible ambient and rhythmic tones. The only downsides I would say is that it is a lot to take in a first and if you want a more simple user friendly pedal you might want to keep looking, but I personally love the sheer amount of customisation you can get out of this thing. ... show more

Overall this pedal sounds great, I love reverb and delay combo pedals and currently I use this one connected to my Korg SV-1. The strereo i/o option makes it ideal for keyboards. The one gripe I have is that I do not recommend guitarists use it as their one and only reverb/delay pedal. The main reason being that in a scenario where you want to use just the reverb or the delay on its own, you're forced to turn down the level nobs. There is no seperate bypass switch for the individual effect. That being said, another disappointing feature is the 3 way switch that changes the reverb type and the delay type. You are stuck with the combinations Flamma gives you. Example being you can only have Analog Delay with Shimmer Reverb, or Reverse delay with Swell Reverb. A little more customization would've made this pedal practically perfect. If you are focused on music production in a studio setting, and don't mind turning knobs to get the right tone, this is a fantastic choice. It's not hard because this pedal sounds really great for the price, and actually has certain effects that Flamma's dedicated reverb and delay pedal lack too. ... show more
