We loaded new batteries in the candles, removed the plastic from the remote & tried them. The remote works weakly. Only the on/off works & we need to stand on top of them to get them to work, Almost always one candle At a time. When my wife told me she had ordered these "candles", I was skeptical, very skeptical. I couldn't imagine how you could create something that isn't the candle, and have it look like a candle. Turns out, you can. Whoever came up with this ideas nothing less than a genius. They create a fantastic mood, they legitimately look like real candles, only by focusing on the flickering movement of these candles, do you get a sense that they might not be real because the flickering is a little too uniform, but from a wide angle perspective, they're fantastic.
