The reclining ability is nice, and I also love the face hole so when I do want to sun bath, I can lay face down without putting undue pressure on my face, or having to turn my face to the side. I like it, it's pretty well constructed and solid. I'd love if the face padding went around the whole face hole, but it's not terrible if you put a towel down. I'm 5'1 and even for me there's not enough space between the face hole and arm holes and if you're over 5'6 I would look for a longer chair. This is so short, with the back rest on the second rung up from flat, my feet are 4 inches from the end. ... show more

Item was described as rated to hold up to 350 lbs. it arrived well packaged & undamaged. The package insert advised it was only rated for 220 lbs. I am a bit over that rate at 225 & 6’4”. I tried the unit and the face hole is too small for me 7 the cushion around the hole is uncomfortable & insufficient. I really like this chair! I bought it because of neck problems and find it hard to lay on my stomach, tanning, without causing pain to my neck. This is exactly what I was looking for! The face and arm holes work great and accomplish the exact reason I bought this chair. I also like the stability of 3 support legs. I am 5'5". If you are taller, I would recommend seeing if there is a longer chair. For my face to fit in the hole laying on my stomach, my toes hang over the edge of the chair. ... show more

Why can zero stars not be an option? There is no way this chair was ever properly tested. First this chair is for people of small stature. I am only 5’8” and when I lay on my stomach to use the cutout for my face my feet are at the end of the chair and the face hole is also way too small. They did add some extra padding around the hole however the fabric they chose is far to rough. It only takes about 5min for it to become very uncomfortable and scratchy. This fabric also only covers the top three sides of the face hole. The bottom part is just the main chair material that is plastic like material that is extremely rough and will irritate your neck terribly. The main material is just a bad choice. All the manufacturer had to do was have someone test it properly and there is no way they would have gone forward with the design or the materials. This chair isn’t even worth $1. ... show more
