I unpacked this thinking I would have to assemble it, but all I had to do was screw in the nicely stained wooden legs, which by the way all have felt on the leg bottoms so it doesn’t scratch the floor. The seat feels like a nice soft leather with a slight texture and has enough cushion to feel comfortable. It’s the perfect height for a vanity and a nice size- not too big not too small. I’m on the heavier side and I was worried it would feel unsteady, but it’s surprisingly stable for such a simple design. I just started using it so I can’t comment on its longevity, but it feels like a quality piece and worth the price.

This stool literally took me about 90 seconds to put together, just screw the four legs into the base and you’re done. The oak legs look nice and everything feels solid once assembled, no wobbling or anything like that. I originally planned to use it as a vanity seat but quickly realized the cushioning is pretty thin, so sitting on it for any length of time isn’t the most comfortable experience. If you’re doing a full makeup routine or spending more than a few minutes at your vanity, you’ll probably notice the lack of padding. The compact size is nice for smaller spaces like a walk-in closet with a tight vanity setup, and it slides easily without scratching floors thanks to the felt pads on the bottom. I think this would work better for a kid’s desk or as occasional seating where someone isn’t parking themselves for long periods. The faux leather wipes clean easily and the overall look is clean and modern, so it’s not a bad piece of furniture. Just be aware that comfort isn’t its strong suit if you’re planning extended sitting sessions, so maybe consider adding a cushion or using it somewhere that doesn’t require long sit times. I wanted a simple, comfortable place for guests to sit while removing their shoes, and this stool works beautifully for that purpose. It is very lightweight, which makes it easy to move from room to room or reposition as needed without any effort. Assembly was extremely easy and took just a minute. The four legs screw directly into the pre-installed bolts on the bottom, and everything lined up perfectly. The faux leather seat has a soft, smooth finish that gives it a clean and slightly luxurious look, especially paired with the natural oak legs. Despite its compact size, the stool is surprisingly comfortable and feels stable when sitting.
